Hello, i try to look for this subject but cant seem to find it.

may i ask what bluetooth adapter may sound best when connected to an old a/v receiver? Is there a difference between branded and possible generic brand?

I just want to purchase one rather than replacing my av receiver with one that may have bluetooth capability.

Are you dead set using bluetooth? Why not try Chromecast Audio for lossless transmission?

Usually sa chipset din nagkakatalo. And minsan, you may get a good chipset pero kung hindi bagay sa system mo or sa preference mo, wala din. I'm sure you're not getting one for serious listening naman so you can start from the cheapest and work your way up the price ladder kung hindi mo magustuhan.

I recommend using a Bluetooth transmitter and receiver combo that has aptX built in. There's a significant  sonic improvement in sound that I can hear, even when I stream lossless from my source.

The fact that it is streaming via aptX over BT means that the data (even from your lossless source) will be put to a lossy compression in real time before streaming. It is a high quality lossy compression though (CD quality), so it should be fine for most applications. Compression is normally at 4:1.

using this right now http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-980-000910-Bluetooth-Audio-Adapter/dp/B00IQBSW28/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1459590820&sr=8-1&keywords=logitech+bluetooth

sounds fine. though there are "better" options out there, for 30 bucks i can't complain. besides if i really want quality, i'd play my music via my cd player or turntable. I'm not storing lossless music anyway on my phone as the storage is limited. if you want to get one of the same model. pm me.
