Yo mga masters, i just stumbled upon this forum and ito yung thread na mejo active regarding sa query ko.

I’ve beed looking for a good, quality 4k uhd tv na pasok sa budget ko and here are my choices:

Samsung 50” ru7100g or LG 49um7300ppa
Both are price at 24,990 (25k)

Im also interested on TCL 50a8us (P20k) and TCL 50” P8M (25k) but i have my doubts since im not used to these brand and i have no experience at all.
I did some research about TCL and nakita ko na may mga major issues to (for me) like dropping wifi connection, screen blackout and others. Pero sa samsung and Lg wala ako masyado makita na major concern. But a lot of people naman ang nagsasabing okay naman daw at matibay. Still, i have to ask some people that have knowledge about this.
Nakapagbasa na din ako ng mga threads and topics about it sa mga community ng TCL owners and ofcourse i dont expect na may magsasabi ng may issue. Meron, mangilan ngilan lang.
Still, as much as posible i want to have peace of mind.

So, mostly i am using my tv for netflix, hd movies, ps4 pro and youtube. Sometimes i do watch local channels for news updates. 12-16hrs a day din naka-on ang tv. Pinaputol ko na din cable ko last year since sayang yung binabayad ko.

Also, i am coming from my 32” sharp tv na 7yrs old. My son and my cat broke it, i dont know how. Gusto ko na din  mag upgrade na since last year dahil  nagmumurahan na 4k tv’s.

Hopefully you guys can help me out and choose between the two main choices ko.

For me, i’ll pick LG due to better customer service pero mas maganda yung black ni Samsung.
Btw, Medyo mahal ng konti yung nakita mong price. Last time I check sa ansons is 23800 pag cash. 1k rin ma save mo.

^  For Anson's stores, you can still ask for a discrete discount from their tag price. I was given an extra P3K discount when I purchased my Samsung QLED last year from their Greenhills branch.

Take note of the warranty also, LG is 2 years while Samsung is 1 year na lang.

For me LG but same price range lang niya ang Samsung RU7100 and Pansonic GX400. For chinese brand like TCL, I saw good reviews here and mura na for 19k na Android tv

before buying I try to look for user manual muna for further reading and no where to be found Panny GX400 series sa list of models sa Panny support, dito sa PH lng pla ito released, may post sa youtube na re-branded pla ito of a chinese tv maker.

It has support for Dolby Vision, HDR10+, HDR10, HLG, Dolby Atmos, and local dimming. I am not sure of refresh rate though.

best to go there and check out/audition na exact model/unit you will buy.  wag na COD, best ma-test niyo muna sa store before pulling it out.

49" box can fit a regular-sized sedan.  but compact ones like Mitsu G4 hindi kaya.  for 55" box, safe na kung mid-size MPV like Innova =).  Ertiga or Xpander para hindi fit.
