Both of these are 120Hz models, probably the cheapest ones available at the moment if you absolutely need one for your PS5 or Xbox Series X.

Comes with freebies: some sorta Globe Huawei device, a tablet, and a Huawei Smart Box.

EDIT: apparently, these are not yet HDMI 2.1 spec, which means these can only do 60 fps on the newer consoles.

These are also available sa Globe. Plan 2499 with zero cash out for the 55" + tablet.

I can attest sa robustness of this Sony Full Array...meron kami nyan 65X90H na ginamit na static monitor for CCTV sa office and ads display and still  lije new pa rin fot almost 1.5yrs in 24H duty.. picture quality is very close sa OLED.

My only major issue with Sony is that a lot of their apps run at 1080p and are scaled to 4k / 8k. You can validate this by opening Youtube and enabling stats for nerds. If the viewport says 1920x1080x2 or 1920x1080x4, then the app is running at FHD natively then scaling the image. My dad and I have Sony TVs that are stuck in this mode so I rigged PCs to them that do play at the native resolution.

Their earlier 4K models did run at 4K, but I believe those were also updated to 1080p for interface smoothness and so that frames don't get out of sync/dropped. My brother downgraded his old TV to the original firmware to enable 4K as he was okay with the glitches.

Other brands may run the interface at FHD, but will switch to UHD during full screen video playback. The Sony TVs apparently do not for most apps. This allows the interface to overlay smoothly over the video playback, but it hurts image quality. There are online threads about this flaw. I don't know if the flagship models have this problem, but anything upto the A8 / X9 series seem to suffer from it to this day.

Update: Just found out that they're running new SoCs on their 2021 models. Hoping that they rectified this problem on their latest units. Their new SoCs (probably also from Mediatek) are supposedly able to handle HEVC, VP9 and AV1 at 4K (no 8K support for the smart features, even on 8K units). This is an improvement, though still a step behind the competition that have been able to run 8K AV1 since last year.

Baka kelangan ko na rin bumili. Sulit talaga yung KS7000 nang samsung. Ganda PQ and sound.  Mid range ang price pero high end ang functionalities. Sana makahanap ako nang almost same kung kelangan na palitan.

Anong plano mo next? Yung plasma panny na pinalitan ni samsung, lasted almost 10 years.

Ang alam ko LG and Sony has 2 years warranty. unlike sammy na 1 year lang.

Kamusta kaya feedback sa Huawei TV

So far so good naman. Got the 120hz 55" for my living room.  32K sa Abenson then I sold the tablet and the Android box because I don't need them. 25K na lang cash out ko since I managed to sell some of the freebies.  It has a lot of bells and whistles plus good picture quality for me. It has 2 years warranty.  We only use it when we watch Netflix, YT and IPTV in the living room.  It has good sound since it has dedicated tweeters and mids unlike the others na full range speakers ang gamit but still a cheapo soundbar will still sound better.  I haven't tried the voice command feature, the Mee Time video conference (it has a built in 1080p 12 megapix camera) and the other fancy features of this Monitor.

It doesnt have a tuner so it isn't technically a TV.

tried Panasonic, Toshiba, Samsung, TCL.  I have resigned to the fact na after the warranty I should be ready to purchase a new one. No exceptions yan per my experience. Branded man or generic.

Did they give you a KonsultaMD voucher when you purchased the TV? Free doctor consult 24/7 for a month.

Caveat guys...the 120Hz works only for streaming videos and not through an HDMI connected Game console since it only has HDMI 2.0 and not HDMI 2.1.  You also need a competent Android TV Box or IOS streamer since the Harmony OS of the TV does not have Netflix, YT and most of the apps that we use.  It has a unique feature wherein you can turn off the monitor and use it as a music source through the above average TV speakers.

I placed my order week 2 of November and it was delivered Week 4 of November since naubos nga yung freebie tablet and they had to wait for it to be in stock. I insisted to get the freebies since they advertised it at that price inclusive of the free items.

This is the first big screen monitor of Huawei (only available in 55 and 65) . What made me try it out is its 2 year warranty, Nice picture and sound plus the freebies which from the get go I know I will sell to further lower down the acquisition price.

The Sony X85J is currently on sale now for these prices:

50" KD-50X85J - ₱38,400
65" KD-65X85J - ₱54,390
85" KD-85X85J - ₱125,990

Gamers will want to check this out as this is probably the best midrange TV for gaming with 120Hz.  Here's what rtings has to say in comparison to the higher X90J model:

"The Sony X90J and the Sony X85J are very similar overall. The X90J has a full array local dimming feature that can improve contrast and reduce blooming in dark scenes, but the X85J has better native contrast and a flicker-free backlight. The X90J is brighter in HDR and HDR content displays at the correct brightness. If you care about calibrating your display for the most accurate image possible, one important difference here is that the X85J doesn't have a color management system."

"The input lag outside of 'Game Mode' or with motion interpolation is significantly lower than the Sony X90J, though we're not sure why. "

Its been a month and a half of real world use of our Huawei S55.  Its a solid purchase for me. The built in speaker sound is actually very good. Most users will not need a sound bar anymore.

Just an update on this.  There is actually a slightly cheaper Sony with a nearly identical set of specs to the X85J.

https://www.abenson.com/sony-uhd-kd-65x85dj.html

There is an Abenson exclusive model called the X85DJ.  Peering through the Sony PH website, it is virtually the same specs as the X85J with the only difference being the X85DJ has MotionFlow XR 480 while the X85J has MotionFlow XR 960.  Both are supposedly native 120 Hz panels and support VRR.

The Abenson-only 65X85DJ is on sale now for ₱51,998.  It could well go lower for spot cash or debit payments.

It seems like a good deal for those looking for an ample-sized gaming TV.  I just hope the DJ version gets the same firmware updates as the J version as the X85J is a global release while the X85DJ seems to be Asia-only.

58" Chiq UHD TV - price is 22k but will go lower with vouchers

What makes this intriguing is the 180 day full replacement clause within their 2-year warranty.

Saw this in Royal Duty Free Subic

This makes it cheaper than the 55" Mi TV. It's also Google TV and has Dolby Vision.

Abensons Trinoma has a 65" C1 for 74k. Display unit siya pero very little power on time and unused accessories. Kukunin ko na sana kahapon kaso hanggang 55" lang talaga kaya dun sa paglalagyan.

Sale at SM North EDSA this past weekend...

I wasn't allowed to take a photo of the Sony 55X85K price promo, which could be had for ₱39,800 for SM Advantage Card holders.  It's a 2022 model with 4k120 capability.

Meanwhile, the X90J's (2021 model) seem like a decent enough deal for a full array tv with 120Hz capability. No OLED's from Sony on sale, unfortunately.

Dizerguy said the next SMAC sale is on Friday.

yeah, it get's to the checkout page but you can't proceed any further. there is no option to purchase whether pick up at store or delivery.
