I've been watching the NBA since the 80's. It was a very different time then. Sports marketing was in its infancy, walang internet at walang social media.
The NBA is the one league wherein superstar players are showcased every game ......... with the sonic boom in endorsements, players nowadays need to market themselves, lalo na ang superstars tulad ni Lebron.
Marketing is best served when you're a winner - Lebron simply looked for the best situation for him (to Miami & back to Cleveland).
Hindi ko din gusto, pero sadyang ganyan na ang takbo ng NBA nowadays. Superstars need other superstars to contend - to win for themselves and win for their brand.
