Watched the first 2 episodes pero inantok ako midway ep 2.

Medyo nagigising gising ako when a good music comes up.

Season 1 was a binge season. This one seems like a slow burn.

2 days na since i watched at hindi ko pa naitutuloy until now.

We watched S02 E01 & 02, maganda pa din, dapat nga isang episode lang papanoorin namin kagabi, humirit pa mga bata ng isa pang episode. Kaninang umaga naman tinuloy ng kids ang panoood, hindi naka tiis, pinanood kahit wala ako.

Really? I thought the last two episodes were the best the show ever did!

My assessment: I think season 1 is overall better....but the last two episodes of season 2 were the best the show has ever done.

It's OK but yeah season 1 is way better

I though "008" has a big role on the finale yet parang filler lang pala siya this season which is a let down

Agree with you on all counts; last 2 episodes were the best, and Season 1 was overall better.

Season 2's pacing was off, and I really didn't like the way Eleven was sidelined for most of the season, leaving her as the saving grace for the final battle. Her personal arc was also awkward--finding her Mom then going off to Chicago alone to find Kali--all that was shown too late towards the end of the season, when it should've been shown earlier.

Liked: Bob, Lucas' character development, Steve's transformation into the Dad-type of the party, Paul Reiser not being a true villain
Didn't like: Dustin's a$$hole-ry, Nancy and Jonathan not wielding weapons to fight, and those two step-siblings from California--but Max wasn't that bad; Billy is the worst, but the show needs a villain now that Steve is one of the good guys.

Which is exactly my gripe about the pacing; her arc with Eleven should've been done earlier, not much later, as it would've made more sense in the overall narrative. I also think she's coming back next season, maybe even with others--she's 008, and Jane is 011, there could be nine more test subjects scattered throughout the USA, as the Hawkins National Laboratory was just one of the facilities used by Project MKUltra.

Done watching Season 2. I liked it, the kids loved it. Para sa akin mas mabilis takbo ng storya ng Season 2. Pero, parehas maganda S01 & S02.

Can't wait for Season 3.

i loved season 2 as much as season 1! shempre wala na masyadong mystery this time around but the script was still excellent and the acting of the kids are much better now. the musical scoring was spot on unlike other movies set in the 80s (i.e. atomic blonde) that lumps together all the different songs from the entire decade even if they're sometimes 8-9 years apart. also, they let the older characters listen to less hip music of that time just like our parents of that period. i think a lot of us enjoyed the last couple of episodes because it reminded us of our youth. in 1984, i was about the age of those kids as well, so hearing pat benatar and olivia newton-john songs in the dance surely brought back lovely memories.

Eleven essentially became the deus ex machina for this season.

The episode set in Chicago was essentially a filler and a shameless plug for the next season. Eleven being able to channel her anger Sith-Lord style could have been integrated into Hawkins, without having to go to Chicago.

Also, a bad guy entirely made up of smoke is really a cop out for me, notwithstanding the presence of Resident Evil style dogs.

Honestly, based on the trailer and after seeing the prologue I though the giant monster was only an illusion made by 008. Wreaking havoc to the city of Hawkins to lure 011 out from hiding, perhaps it could have been a better twist? No?

Binged season 2 today. Ok naman pala after ep 1-2. Baka antukin na lang talaga ako.

Ep3 onwards had things going na.

Very cute finale ending with the snow ball.
