masama din loob ko sa pagsoli ng sub.dahil ss pagiging newbie ko sa adhesive problem at dahil sa mawawala warranty ay napilitan ako.

need ko magcompute kung mag sss loan para sa pb2000 but will try muna marco pilyo bago ang lahat.

pa pm naman kung sino meron marco pilyo dyan na gustong i share nila experience nila or ipost dito

much better kung parehas na nila napakingan yung dalawa.

this time hindi na ko in a rush bumili ng sub

yung pb12 plus kasi bash type and 5 yrs na sya gamit at mukhang malaki masyado.sabihin natin na magkaproblema after 1 yr sa kung anung dahilan lumagay ako sa 3yrs na warranty.at isa pa over na yun sa budget ko.

pero siguro kung pinakingan ko yun tapos in safe setting yung gusto ko dating malamang inuwi ko na rin.hehehe

umaasa pa rin ako may darating pa rin na maganda

The adhesive in the picture looks very normal for any driver. Mukhang may problem sa settings and movie material na ginamit. Wala pa akong nakita na hindi na-satisfy sa SVS. You should have invited someone to your place to check your setup.
Or baka super taas ng expectation mo talaga that you would need a more powerful sub for that matter. Yun lang wala akong alam na sub na same price ng SVS mo na powerful unless you want to try the DIY route. Which is semi complicated if you don't properly match the amp, enclosure and driver.
Have you tested the SVS in Mike's place before getting it? So you'll have a reference point kasi and you'll know kung ang movie material or setup mo ang problem.

Yes. Pero ang issue kasi ng TS is yun gain or lakas ng lows niya. Kaya most often ang advice natin for beginners is to audition audition and audition so you'll have a reference point as to SQ and loudness. Without proper reference, you really can't tell what good, or malakas etc.

Can't really rely on others' experience. Ganyan din naman ako, ask others first pero as addtl info lang. Pero may mga nabili akong pure "bahala na" dahil gusto ko lang talaga.

Baka nga mad mabuting mag Pilyo muna since may budget constraint pa.

Mabait lang si Mike C pero lugi sya sa deal na to. Baka nga mas matibay pa ang kapit nyan due to excess glue. Once covered w/ grill wala ng papansin nyan other than sa iyong isipan.

The best talaga you find ample time to audition esp subwoofers dahil mabigat at mahal. Kung nagtyaga ka sanang nagpaturo muna kay Mike at audition 3 subs prior.

Lesson learned that is pero sayang din naman ang mga payo namin syo dahil nagmadali ka. Ayan tuloy sa una palang medyo dismayado ka. Ang sarap pa naman ng feeling na pagkasetup mo mapapangiti ka sa tuwa dahil you experience something different at sulit ang pinag-ipunan.

I have to disagree.

Lugi siguro monetarily but at a certain perspective, I think Mike actually ended up on top of this.

SVS pa din ang kunin mo. Basta make sure na tama na yung calibration, positioning at room treatment mo. Bili ka na din spl meter. Ask a pdvd member near your place to help you set up.

svs does not boast of booming ear piercing bass. ang gusto ko sa svs is the extension and clarity. madalas kung marinig there is no replacement for displacement kaya dont expect a lot sa pb1000 pag dating sa strong output mas malaki ang driver mas maganda displacement pero kahit 10 inches lang ng svs can be at par or better sa ibang brand. naalala ko a month ago pumasyal kami sa isang barkada dumadagundong sa garahe nya habang kumakain kami. sabi nya nag rereklamo yung kapitbahay kaya nag ayos sya ng bakod nasa living room ang set up nya mga 25 to 30 sqm kasama kitchen pero ang lakas pa din ng sub nya. akala ko malaki yun pala pb1000..

Maraming factors. Placement, room size, calibration, room treatment, source, etc.

Yung setup ko nga mas malakas ang kalabog sa loob ng cr pero syempre puro dagundong lang.

May mga discussions na dito regarding acoustics.

Tumpak! Kaya maganda nga sana pwede home audition para makumpara ng buyer ang performance. Yung feeling na ang ganda ganda ng tunog sa shop then pagsetup mo sa bahay ang masasabi mo lang ay, "Ay.....?! Ba't ganun?

Marami namang praktikal na paraan para maayos ang kundisyon ng room.

walang mystery sa pb1000 or any other sub for that matter sa pananaw ko. madaming pagkakataon nagiging subjective din. but many factors can affect the performance nasabi na lahat sa mga previous posts. may times because malapit sa corner yung placement nagkaron ng dapdag lakas. yung layout ng lugar kung saan nakalagay yung set up pinakahuli panlasa ng nakikinig. may pinuntahan ako ng set up dalawang 13 inches at dalawang 15 inches ang sub pero yung bass nya swabe lang at sa ibang panlasa parang mahina considering na apat sya yung isang pinuntahan ko naman dalawang 12 inches parang ginigiba ng lindol yung room nya. yung apat na sub pasok sa panlasa nya yung tamang tama lang na bass yung dalawa pasok sa kanya yung madiin talaga.

dati naka us audio ako na sub pag nanuod na ako parang magigiba yung kwarto masaya ako.pero nung napag paliwanagan ako nagkaron ako ng paradigm shift nagpalit ako ng svs pb10 di kasing lakas bumayo ng us audio pero worlds apart sa ganda at kalidad ng tunog.
