Hi JeromeA.

Thanks for the input. In my case, the Zidoo reads 3 of the HDDs in the Probox and 1 External Portable HDD.

It just fails to read the 4th HDD inside the probox. It detects it, but only shows the same contents of one other HDD in the Probox.

Due to the long vacation we have this month, I installed my X9s again coz I wanna watch different international News Media but problem is my MOBDRO is not working it cant open CNN, MOTORTREND, DISCOVERY Channels. Titanium TV works find though.

Any tips would really be greatly appreciated, thanks much? (I'm no good w/ NMTs)

I've been trying to find a media player that would complement my workhorse WD TV player.
I've tried those $30-80 android players, to somehow sum it up, all of them are really buggy, some would play the video file,
pero walang audio, yung iba naman hindi kayang mag-decode ng DTS or Dolby, and kahit anong adjust ang gawin sa setting,
walang pagbabago, I've tried 5 andorid players I think, I ended up returning them...

Now, I've tested Zidoo Z9S, coz I've been reading some of the reviews here,
unfortunately, unang subok pa lang ay sabit na sya, hindi makung mag-initialize ng player,
And after complaining sa Zidoo, they told me to flash it, following the method na pinadala nila.
Sabi ko sa sarili ko, for $180-200, hindi dapat ganito ito, anyway, I did flashed it,
sabit pa rin,  lahat ng naka-install na app ay ayaw gumana, kahit file explorer ay panay ang error,
so again, I sent it back sa Amazon, and requested a replacement.
So sa ikalawang pagkakataon, sabit pa rin, same issue ang lintek, so I gave up with this brand,...

Tama ang sabi nyo, HIT or MISS na itong brand na ito,...

I am now ordering the Zappiti One SE 4K HDR - UHD Media Player
Hopefully, this would perform well, will let you know as soon as maikabit ko ito...
Quite thankful at maganda ang return policy ni Amazon...

Nagsisisi nga ako ngayon at sana ay kumuha ako ng Nvidia Shield years ago, ngayon ay walang makuha na, am on backorder list kung sakali man....

sir if you read some of my post here maraming talagang complain at prob sa z9s model. mas maigi pang nag x9s ka.andami kong kakilala sa my problem sa z9s.

dami issue ang z9s.. swertehan lang ang unit. marami akong friends my reklamo na jan. meron pa isa na gang ngayon nasa for repair pa ang z9s nya wala pang piyesa nadating.

maganda ang zidoo na brand. wag lang z9s.

oo bro.. dami ko kaibigan namomroblema sa mga units nila.. dami pa nga gang ngayon pending pa. sinuli ang unit gang ngayon di pa nababalik. mga under warranty.inabot na ng lockdown.. nakaraang taon pa yun. mga sept at nov.

and nag-email sa akin ang seller mismo, nagmamakaawa na baguhin ko daw ang review ko,
but I told her that I have to be honest kasi para sa benefit ng ibang buyers,
in the end, inalis ni Amazon ang Zidoo Z9S dahil sa posted review ko,
up to now ay nagmamakaawa ang seller sa akin na bigyan ko pa daw sila ng chance,
magpapadala nga daw ng libreng Zidoo para itest ko para lang mabago ang impression ko sa company nila...

The advantage of zidoo is it's built in Media player.
it's OS is generic android so i don't recommend it for app use especially apps that are designed for android tv os..

I have both nvidia shield and zidoo z1000.. Zidoo is still my choice in local media playing. hands down..

marami ako kakilala sir update ng update no imrpovement sa z9s model. meron pa kakaupdate hindi na gumana totally ang z9s nya.im really glad dati hindi ko naisipang bitawan ang x9s ko to shift on this model.
