I've upgraded to Oreo. Chromecast built is is working. Reading movies from NAS is working. I still haven't tweaked the setting much. New look needs getting used to.

yung VLC na available sa Google Play ba? how about yung audio? last time na ginamit ko kasi ito eh PCM lang audio and hindi kaya passthrough or 5.1 audio.

Sir curious lang naka optical po kayo or hdmi? kasi dati naka optical ako kaya ko mag pass through ng DTS and DD. Ngayon hindi na.

Optical. Nag passthrough pa naman via Kodi kahit oreo na. Yung lang save ko muna sa flash drive yung movies ko para ma read ng Kodi. Problema eh yung more than 4GB files eh nde pwede copy sa FAT32.

Ah ok. I tried vlc kasi pero d nya nagawa. Di kasi me nag kodi kasi ntfs lajat ng hdd ko. Thank you

Yes, available ang VLC sa Play Store. Sa audio, working yung pass-through. Oks rin ang 5.1 audio, kahit na PCM ang signal from Mi Box to receiver.

Same problem, di madetect flash or hd. Pansin ko humina audio nung sakin, ganun din ba sa inyo? Setup ko is mibox to tv then tv arc to receiver.

after the oreo update my 5ghz wifi is so slow..
i used to stream 4k HEVC Remux with 50gb to 70gb filesize.
now it stops and buffers alot.
after checking wireless AC is now capped at 50 Mbps to 60 Mbps.

even when getting a good link like this. still getting only 60 Mbps max even with iperf.

Pressing search on remote gives two app options. Alin ba default dun?

Android TV remote having issue. Doesn't detect my other mi box so Bluetooth while the other one is via WiFi.

are you using Kodi?

give up muna ako sa Kodi, mukhang they need to update it to resolve the problem. Right now, I'm using Archos Media. working naman audio passthrough, no problems with DTS/Dolby. hindi ko lang gusto pag full screen, na crop yung screen instead of stretching it.

mas ginagamit ko Google Assistant, for me mas responsive. ala Siri/Alexa/Cortana pa, pwedeng utusan mag search hehe.

My Mi Box 3 does not automatically connect to the WiFi AP after update. You need to manually select a saved AP profile and connect. Bummer.

I believe it says that they stopped the forced global rollout of Oreo OTA for marshmallow user.
For users that already upgraded to Oreo. They'll be receiving the HDCP 2.2 and NTFS patch.

I received the patch this afternoon. It fixed the issue with Kodi

not sure about the other issues though.
