Not entirely, Goku didn't use his new form Kaiyoken SSB. I think he did it on purpose to inspire Frieza on the upcoming tournament. He even took Frieza's KO punch in base form

Nope, nakalimutan mo na ata na na suppress ni Goku yung World Killer full attack ni Beerus in base form and Frieza struggled in his Golden form sa second hand individual attack ni Sidra...

Goku charged at frieza in ssb so I think he got ssb form knocked out of him and reverted to base form.

Magulo talaga. And apparently, frieza need not train to improve.

The only realistic fight is between gohan and goku.

Maybe, typical kasi sa DB na papakita yung transition ng SSB to base form once taken a hit for dramatic effect dito kasi naka base form agad si Goku. My theory is Goku threw the KO punch to Frieza in SSB form and took the punch on base form para ma KO siya agad purposely. But that's my opinion lang naman.

Whis said fight ends if one lands a hit. He could have let frieza hit him cleanly without being knocked out.

^^Like I said I think Goku is purposley trying to put in Frieza's mind na EVEN sila to avoid Frieza's evil deeper scheme against Team 7. That's just a theory on my part.
