As like what others say, konting tiis lang sir na kayo muna mag-abono ng shipping fee for returns. Babalik naman sayo yan (ikakaltas sa seller yun, so actually lugi nga sila, kasi refund item na, may expense sa return shipping pa)
In my opinion, I'd rather do this, than with Lazada's return policy via LBC (meaning kailangan ko pang maghanap ng LBC tapos pumila ng kay haba haba, lalo na't Covid times ngayon)
Another alternative, if possible, is try to convince the seller to just outright refund your money (no more returns), if you convince them enough na mas lugi pa sila if ireturn ang package dahil mas mahal pa yung courier fee compared to the value of the item itself.
May times na gumagana sa akin yan, but there are also times na matigas/ma-pride talaga ang seller, so in the end- lose-lose situtation siya, because either he gives back your money (refund), or he ends up paying for the return courier fee (depends on the value of the item of course), so karma na sa kanila yan kasi fault naman in their part. Kung inis ka talaga sa seller, ipa-Grab/Lalamove mo, para mas mahal ang makakaltas sa kanila hehehe (just dont forget to take a screenshot of the receipt for documentation).
Pero nakakainis nga yung ganyan na ma-rereceive mo either wrong item or defective, yung oras mo yung nasasayang e,but ganyan talaga if online purchase e, that is always the risk.
