Probably from someone who doesn't watch much Celtics games and just simply glances at stats. Horford is actually Boston's leading assistman, rebounder and shot blocker. He actually initiates and facilitates Boston's offense. Yes surprisingly it's not Kyrie Irving. Mga under the radar stats:
1. 2nd in PER to Kyrie at 18.8
2. 2nd in OWS
3. 2nd in DWS
4. 2nd in WS
5. 1st in Offensive Ratng

I would say Horford is the most important player for the best team record wise in the East.

I watch almost all the NBA games that I can, including Celtics games. Horford is not an All-Star. No need to be up in bunches just coz it's a dude from your favorite team. Drummond deserves that spot. This doesn't mean that Horford isn't a key piece in the Celtics' system. Sure he plays an integral role in their success but when you watch guys like Drummond or even Dwight this year, either of those two deserve a spot.

And I've watched enough games of Drummond and Dwight too. I know you love your Celtics but it's undeniable that Drummond and Dwight have far more stellar output than Horford.

That goes for Draymond too. He is a key cog in the Warriors system but PG deserves that spot. That's just my opinion though.

The coaches who voted Horford in most probably put winning at a premium which sadly Drummond failed to hurdle. Far more stellar output is debatable of course. But purely based on stats, conclusive yes. And like I said, maybe winning was put at a premium. Yes same as Draymond. Premium on winning was strongly considered. In terms of winning, Drummond and Howard lost out with their respective teams sitting outside the playoffs.

Just stating my defense of Horford as well.
