Parang humina boston ah, marami nawala sa celtics core. Pati yung defensive player nila last year diba lumipat na rin. Ang tinira pa nila sa roster yung flopper.

The CAVS actually got a nice haul.

Thomas was elite last season - assuming he recovers from his injury, he'll surely play his ass off for the coming max contract ....... Crowder can play & he's, on a very cap friendly contract ........ plus a future draft pick. Nice haul.

The CELTS get an elite PG who is a proven closer.

That gap between the CAVS and the CELTS is at it thinnest now .......... I'd still give the edge to the CAVS, because of Lebron, plus the CELTS will still need to break-in their young guns.

great move by CLE. both Kyrie and IT have similar stats and both have poor defense. Crowder is a steal as a throw in plus that first round pick in an loaded draft.

For the Celts its a 2 year rental at worse...but you will never know Danny might be flipping his expiring contract next year for 2 or possibly 3 players.

if LBJ will not sign an extention with the cavs atleast they have something to build up on, although no hype on 2018 draft, its still something
on the other hand, if LBJ re-signs, that pick might be traded for post season help

as for the Celtics, the season long "is IT4 worth giving the max" is not their problem anymore, although they should shape either brown or tatum to be a stopper, they lost their grit with bradley and crowder gone

Beg to differ brader ......... IMO Thomas is the faster guy - though Kyrie is a far more creative with the ball.

CAVS will still be favored in the EAST ........ though they lost their closer - something IT would have to take care off with (gulp) Lebron.

Dun naman sa celtics blog, it is being suggested that the Cavs are trying to pry more assets from Ainge and using the Thomas injury as blackmail. The injury report was sent to the cavs about Thomas. So the cavs where not really going in the deal blind.

Part of trading the Brooklyn unprotected 2018 pick was for Cleveland to assume the risk of IT's injury. That was the reported deal. Though not waiving CLE's right to void it.

Dapat the Celts should stay firm with their offer, take it or leave it. Ang Cavs kaya ang desperate to trade Irving since nag quit na si Irving.

On other news, pag di pumirma si Westbrook ng extension I say swap na lang si Westbrook for Irving. OKC cannot afford to let Westbrook do a Durant move. Si Westbrook naman should aim for a title at this point of his career. Certainly, okc can't give him that.
