I agree with this sir, I think there's too much pride amongst NBA players that if they want to win, they want to do it properly, or as they say, in dramatic fashion.
Kaya nga siguro hanga ako sa mga katulad ni Wall, kasi parang siya iyung tipo na gusto i-lead ang team to a ring rather than team up with another superstar.
Although, to sir thebat's point, there are players who, in my opinion, want to win the championship "easily". That's the reason why we see superstar team-ups in the NBA today. It's not like, let's say, the 80s or the 90s where teams are built from the ground up and players want to beat other players so bad that the idea of teaming up with another superstar is preposterous. Unless, of course, they feel they're old and a bit washed up, and want to do nothing but ring chase.
