Baka natimbrehan si Lebron na may mga dalang itlog at kamatis ang mga pumipila :) :)

imagine, from MVP candidate almost 2 years ago to veteran's minimum now. wala na talaga gusto mag gamble sa kanya because of the hip injury he suffered. fully recovered na ba sya?

Yup, part tryouts (for undrafted, invites, etc), also to showcase those picked in the recent NBA draft - get their feet wet to the NBA-style of competition.

really more of a try out for those undrafted, G-League, overseas players, former NBA players, and those that are outside of the first round draft picks ... only the first round draft picks are guaranteed a contract ... some teams also use it as practice and exposure for their sophomores before going to the preseason training ... practice and exposure din for the assistant coaches

An example of how to destroy your own career:

When Nerlens Noel was with the Mavs last year they offered him a 70 million 3 years + 1 year Player Option contract.  He then refused that offer and instead banked on his potential as a Free agent for 2018 to earn a more lucrative deal.  After refusing the offer of the Mavs he got injured, suspended several games for violating the anti drug program and was caught eating a hot dog at the Media buffet during halftime in which Coach Carlisle was meeting with the Mavs players to draw up and discuss adjustments for the 2nd half. That bizarre controversy led to him being benched by Carlisle till the season ended.

He just signed a 1 year contract with OKC for 4M.

Kahit mag under perform ka na (like what Melo is doing). Tapos you get all the medical care din.

I think he is misguided by his agent, made him believe that he is worth more than $70M. but for his other antics, he is accountable for that.

All pro-sports agents, moreso in the NBA, always go for the max contracts for their clients .......... malas lang at minsan, injuries, poor play, attitude, etc will lower your market value.

Itong si IT ang isang major and recent example of this ......... in line na sana siya for his next big contract - coming of a sensational 16-17 season with the CELTS.

Ayun na-injure, na-trade, hindi pa nag-jive with his new teams .......... he accepted a 1-year minimum contract, so he has the season to prove himself all over again.

Tong si kawhi na impluwensyahan ng mga agents nya. Looking for a really big payday. Example is yung shoe deal nya. How can you be the 2nd or 3rd best player in the world tapos ang shoe deal nya with jordan is 5m dollars. Whereas harden gets like 200m.

Around half of the league will/can enter free-agency next offseason ........ add the fact that many teams will have cap space for next offseason. Some big names can move.

KD, Kyrie, KAT, Kawhi, Klay, KLove, Butler, M. Gasol, Horford, DJ, Boogie, Porzingis, Kemba, etc.

For parity's sake, let's hope that there's going to be some re-alignment / correction next offseason .......... lumakas-lakas naman sana ang EAST.

If totoong big payday lang ang habol nya, then look no further cause San Antonio will be offering him the Superduper Max of $219 for 5 years. That would the biggest offered to a player kung gusto nya. No other team can offer him that, only San Antonio (due to the NBA rules).

But what about the money he can make outside his salary? I cant find the video on youtube, but analysts says hell never get max dollars from sponsorships as long as hes with SA. Something to do with the team, Pop, etc. Di ko nga ma gets eh, talaga bang small market team lang ang SA?

This isnt the video but somewhat explains how the shoe deal might have something to do with him not wanting to stay at SA.

Kawhi is really maligned by his agent uncle (who by the way does not have any other player except for Kawhi) ... media had been telling that it's not his association with San Antonio that's not giving him the big sponsorship deals, but rather his personality ... even if he moves to LA or NY, if the guy cannot even speak for himself, how can he be a good product endorser ... and he's further hurting it with the actions that they've been doing for the past year and recent activities .... Swaggy P can be a better product endorser than Kawhi

I like the Parker signing better than LaVine's. Sana lang his knees hold up. He's a Chicago native.

Pero yeah, still overpaid. That's the underutilized cap space effect.
