Dramatic:

St. Elsewhere: Well written, with characters who were very engaging. Like
L.A. Law, it successfully could combine drama and comedy nearly seamlessly.

Chicago Hope: How I wish this show would've debuted a year before
E.R.. It never really stood a chance to become a break-out hit with that show as its competition.
Comedic:
1.
Scrubs: The funniest sitcom currently on air. And this from someone who watches probably most of them.

E/R: The 80s sitcom, not the current drama. But this is probably for sentimental reasons, since I really remember the E/R triage girl - the first Pinay character I ever saw on an American show, who talked about balut and other stuff.
