Topic: Center speaker sound muffled

Mga sirs, bakit parang muffled or mahina yung sounds na nanggagaling sa center speakers ko? Model is klipsch sb1. Receiver ko is denon 2310ci.
Wala din mic yung receiver ko para magawa yung audyssey calibration. Pwede bang manual na lang?

Is it a new speaker ?
Was it like that ever since ?
Is the tweeter working ? if biwire capable, check if jumpers are installed at the back

Try hooking up the wire from either left and right speakers to your center and see if muffled pa din ang sound. Check wires and check how the wire was installed sa likod.

@Nelson, hindi po ba masisira yung receiver kung e-kabit ko yung speaker wires either left or right on the speakers kahit hindi gagalawin yung wires na naka kabit sa receiver?

@qguy, hindi po bagong spekaers sir. Hindi din po biwire capable.

Speaker brand and model is Klipsch synergy SC-1..
receiver im using is Denon AVR-2310CI..

Im in the fence of upgrading my speakers , center and fronts lang (3.1|) setup..

someone is offering me definitive technology bp6 and procenter 2000 okay po ba yun?

Now, if ako po ang pipili ng speaker brands, i have narrowed it lang sa Polk audio and Klipsch...ano pong marerecommend nyong floorstadings speakers and center speakers from those brands? Kahit yung hindi latest models and I will try to find a 2nd hand here in Canada.. Thanks po ulit..

Swap the Left speaker to the Center speaker, Do not change the wiring on the amplifier, speaker swap lang,

If muffled pa rin yung CENTER speaker na nakakabit na sa LEFT Channel, check if the tweeter is working.

As for upgrading,  what is your front speakers and subwoofer ? How big is your room ? How loud do you play ? What specific aspect of the system do you want to improve ?

Hmmm....I dont really play that loud. If possible I want it moderately but I want my dialogues from my center channel to be crisp and clear.

I really want to have a floor standing speaker, just a preference.
