Sony BDP-BX58 Remote not working

Need help regarding my Sony BDP-BX58 remote is not working tried it using Sony site how to but still failed.

Use a selfie phone cam to check if the remote's infrared LED is working.

Point remote to selfie cam and look for the faint LED glow.  Thats light in the IR spectrum. :)
