Marimar-This badly-dubbed Spanish telenovela,about a scantily clad heiress, her talking dog,and her hairy lover is actually not a comedy show.It is however,the most influential show in TV in the past few years.The unexpected success of Marimar changed  primetime TV  programming in a way no one could foresee.It forced the 2 leading networks to retool their long established primetime formats-shorter evening news, later shows etc.Personally, I prefer La Traidora.
