Robert Kirkman Confirms Two More Seasons of Invincible at Amazon

Viewers who have been enjoying Amazon Prime Video’s ongoing superhero series Invincible have something to celebrate. Franchise co-creator Robert Kirkman reached out to the show’s lead actor Steven Yeun to share the news that Amazon has renewed the show for two more seasons.

This good news comes just one day before tomorrow’s season one finale, entitled “Where I Really Come From.”

Amazon announced that the highly anticipated second season of the Invincible animated series would be split into two parts, with the first four of eight episodes releasing on November 3, 2023, and the final four releasing sometime in early 2024. Currently, no official release for the final part of Invincible Season 2 has been announced.

Invincible recasts Ezra Miller's role in wake of actor's controversies

Ezra Miller, the Flash and Fantastic Beasts star who became mired in controversy after a string of arrests and allegations in recent years, appears to have been quietly replaced in the second season of the Prime Video animated series Invincible.

Miller voiced D.A. Sinclair in season 1, a mad scientist who murders humans and turns them into robots dubbed ReAnimen. The villain is defeated but returns in a nightmare sequence during this week's season 2 episode, "I'm Not Going Anywhere" — but this time he's voiced by actor Eric Bauza, whose other voice credits include X-Men '97 and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Finished Season 2 and it still packs a solid good punch. Action packed episodes, but also quite dramatic and emotional when needed. I liked that even the supporting cast gets their own character moments. Looking forward to the series continuing its quality streak.
