Is there anybody here using Skycable iRecord to record fave shows and stuff? It can only be played with the same iRecord unit where you recorded the show. My bad experience with this, was that, when the iRecord became non-functional, all my previously recorded shows cannot be played with the new iRecord box anymore. Anyone know how to transfer these files for personal keeping onto my macbook as mp4 file? is there a capture card needed to do this? would appreciate any help and response. Please call my attention if this isn't the proper forum. Thanks for your time.
