Picked this up for the final season of Game of Thrones (welp).

Now I'm watching Westworld - amazing.

I'm planning to watch Chernobyl next.

Anything you folks might especially recommend? The only HBO shows I've ever finished are The Wire and the first season of True Detective.

HBO GO Now Available in the Philippines as a Standalone Streaming Service

So no need for a pre-existing cable TV subscription. Available for P149 per month. Not bad.

How about His Dark  Materials? Has anyone watched this yet? I saw the trailer and it seems interesting.

His Dark Materials is quite interesting since I never saw The Golden Compass.. Has a capable cast.. for HBO, i'd suggest Watchmen and Silicon Valley (if you are into comedy)

Zack Snyder’s 'Justice League' to premiere on HBO Go in the Philippines in March

HBO Asia announced today that the Warner Bros. Pictures and DC full-length original feature film “Justice League” by director Zack Snyder will premiere in Asia on HBO GO at the same time as the US on Thursday, March 18, 2021.

It was previously announced that the highly anticipated film would stream exclusively in the US on HBO Max.

The offering will replace the HBO Go streaming service that has operated in part of East Asia, positioned as a stronger technology platform with a bigger library of content.

The service houses brands such as HBO, the DC Universe, Cartoon Network, Max Originals as well as the Harry Potter franchise and Hollywood features. It also features programming from Discovery, TLC, AFN, Food Network, ID and HGTV.

Pricing details will vary by country and provider, with a mobile-only plan available in Indonesia, Philippines, and via select providers in Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines and Thailand.

Monitoring this for the new pricing. No way they won't have an increase. But I won't mind being proven wrong.

On the other hand, I won't hesitate to continue with my current sub if all the Discovery programs are included from before.
