The Mavs put up a good fight despite playing shorthanded. I hope they make the correct personnel moves in the offseason and get Luka the help he needs - including an enforcer.

IMO the Nuggets should be a better matchup against the Clips in the next round, but tough task winning two straight against the Jazz without real HCA.
We deserve better.

He is good bro. He actually is the key for the Nuggets to win against the Jazz.

Yung mga loses nila were the games he didn't play well.

Jamal Murray, Gary Harris & Will Barton all play a similar attacking, offensive style,

It's been a joy watching the NUGGETS the past 2 years - something similar to those old fast-paced, high-scoring SUNS, MAVERICKS teams.

Too bad injured si Barton, while Harris is just recovering.

morris ejected. buti nga sayo! bagong zaza pachulia.

He should have been penalized for stepping on Luka's ankle the last game! Very dirty player, good he got ejected! Unfortunately the Clippers won.

I think favored na Nuggets in Game 7 - one of the few teams to rally after being down 1-3.

The ceiling of Luka’s career is so high it is far more important than winning a 1st round series.

Never expected them to reach this level of play. Sana masustain nila going forward. The future of the nba is in good hands with all these young players evolving.

I still can't believe that a lot of teams passed Donovan Mitchell during the 2017 draft including the Lakers. what if they drafted him at no.2 instead of Lonzo?

May element din ng luck sa draft. They got lucky with Kuzma. BI was a sure thing. Dlo was a sure thing as well but very immature back then. Zubac was good pick though they gave up on the kid too easily. Randle was all that they expected...all offense but no defense. He never developed.

They chose the wrong player during the 2017 draft in Lonzo Ball. They probably thought that their player development program could improve his outside shot and on the ball defense.  Very little improvement was shown.

eto masakit:

Mitchell was drafted by the Denver Nuggets with the 13th overall pick in the 2017 NBA draft only to be traded to the Utah Jazz for the 24th pick (Tyler Lydon) and Trey Lyles.  Imagine Denver with a 1 - 2 punch of Murray and Mitchell plus the Joker manning the distribution.

problema rin kasi sa ibang teams hindi iniintindi yung player development, gusto jackpot kaagad, pag hindi nag-click immediately trade or let go na ... yung mga commentator ng Spurs palagi nila sinasabi na those teams getting high draft picks should give those kids time to develop - karamihan daw kasi 1 year lang sa college, so bukod sa skills and experience kulang pa sa maturity ... daming high draft picks na na-trade na kaagad, yung iba like DLo, ng mag-mature ang galing, saka lumabas yung potential

Agree on that raptor. Some teams kasi iba need nila when they draft.  Some of them need an impact player that can contribute immediately straight out of the draft while some organizations nurture the player into what they can be in terms of potential.  Pang scrimmage muna yun for 1 to 2 years and spot minutes sa regular season. Yun bale ang evaluation period nila.  The Lakers back then needed players that can contribute and put butts in the seats.  Pa retire na si Kobe nung draft years nila. They were looking for the next big thing in LA.  They are very lucky Lebron landed in their team and it didnt cost them a player.  AD was a different matter altogether.

Dahil din sa demand ng lakernation eh. Masyado apurado.

during the draft years nila they were aware that they were in the process of rebuilding.  Kobe's legs were gone and he was about to retire, he had no reliable sidekick to help him out, zero luck in free agency as well plus they have to unload the horrible contacts of Mozgov and Deng.  Coach Walton was tasked to nurture the rookies and sophomores in the process but when Lebron chose LA, they only have a 3 year window. The 4th year is a player option so uncertain yun. With the basketball mileage that LBJ endured plus his age it is clear that the pressure to win is immediate.  They have no choice but to surround him w/ players that complement his style of play hence the trading began.

Ang pinaka importante sa Lakers this off season is to lock up the successor to Lebron which is AD to a long term contract. If (and its a big IF) they win a championship this year or next year then its a sure bet that LBJ will re-sign with them for 2021 onwards till he retires.

BTW...ever wondered why the brother of Giannis is a Laker? FA si Giannis after next season eh hahahaha

Yun lang si Giannis needs the entire team to be built around his strengths.  Nung naglaro sa 2019 FIBA yan he didnt look like an MVP

Si cp3 and schoeder and none got suspended. Nothing happened to cp3. No call, no review. Si schoeder fine lang 25 thou.

On another play  cp3 almost broke the whole left arm of Harden. Tsk tsk

I think its not solely the fault of Buss or Kupchack for that matter. The questionable signings of Deng and Mozgov yes they were accountable for that but the Lakers were a mess back in 2013 to 2018.  Kobe was hurt with a then possible career ending injury.  When he got hurt the team was built around Kobe, Nash, Howard and Gasol. That team was assembled by Buss and Kupchack so hindi rin pwedeng sabihin na walang alam sa Ops si Jimm Buss and Mitch Kupchack.  That team was built to compete and win it all but it never panned out.  It all came down like an avalanche after Nash got hurt, Howard didn't mesh with Kobe, Gasol couldnt adapt to just being a stretch 4 and the final straw was Kobe's injury. The other cast of players during those years were just there for the short term and not building blocks for the future. They wanted to maintain salary flexibility year over year in order to sign Max players however that structure and the current state of the team was not appealing to the then FA's like Aldridge, Melo, LBJ (before the 2nd CLE tour), PG, De Rozan etc.  It didn't help as well that Kobe had a reputation of being a difficult team mate.

Well kahit naman sino makuha nila back then...they wont stand a chance against the Warriors. Ok na rin na nag hiatus muna sila while the Warriors finished their run.
