Just bought one with 65", the android version to upgrade my 50" hisense due to the fact that I find it a hassle to switch between the fire stick and its native OS. also since its android, I want all the streaming features, apps and whatnots in 1 location. I was thinking it would be able download and view my CCTV app through the Sony TV. But no. The hikvision app is not available on the store. Maybe through APK it might work.

Now the positive side, the interface is quite impressive. Very similar to the playstation OS. PQ and SQ is good as expected from a decent brand. No white spots at certain angles.

To maximize the streaming apps, I suggest you get a VPN.

I have the 49" x80G.  it's very very good. 

Sony FW is Android 8 now after updating it here at home.  streaming apps are good (Netflix & Youtube), KODI installed can decode ATMOS/DTS:X and downmix it to 2ch.  I have not connected my media player here nor a soundbar/AVR.  we use it as a stand-alone TV for OTA, movies via KODI and stream videos/movies from Netflix/Youtube.  it's a well-rounded Android TV. 

since I also have the 2016 x80D model, I find its speaker perform better than the 2019 x80G. that's the only downside I find from it.  PQ is the same as they have the same processor and Sony Triluminos software for picture enhancement.  Playing 4K offline movies on both x80D and x80G are superb.
