Technics 1210 MKII - Full RACE!
« on: Jan 15, 2008 at 11:54 AM »
Deat All,

During the last Hifi show, while listening to Technics Kingdom. I said to myself - "One day I'm going to have one". Just recently purchased a Technics 1210MKII with the questions in mind what will it sounds like if I pimped it up with ORIGIN LIVE ARMBOARD and OL RB-250 Fully Modified?

The Answer.....My best GIFT to MYSELF! - So FAR! :) :) :)

Before the Surgery:

After The Painless Operation

Enjoy the Music :)

Thank you for Looking.

DB10,

I am really happy with the results of the upgrade. The bass is tight and solid compared with the old 1210. You can really appreciate the artist for it has better and deeper imaging. No more with the sharp edges highs in exchange of smooth treble extension. It's going to be a sleepless nights for me :).

Soon I can play around with a more expensive cart ;). For the time being I am using Ortofon M10.

My Technics 1210MKII is now an audiophile grade TT at Less maintenance.

Regards,

Not only that. You can play with it depending on your music preference. It's like when you are in high school and your father lend you his 60's volkswagen. What are you gonna do? a) Polish it with 3M wax b) Put a bling-bling Mags c) Hook it up with a boom-boom sound d) All of the above.

It's the same for me :)

Thanks AudioJ :)
