malaki ang galit ni Mike Defensor sa mga Lopez, si Gina Lopez, ipinasara ang mining company nya due to violations...nagpapalakas yan kay haring burat baka sakaling mabalik sa kanya ang mining firm at mabuksan muli kung hindi pa nangyayari...me dahilan ang bawat kilos ngmga pulitikon koryano, magkano koryan?

saan ka naman nakakita na naging DENR sec ni GMA ay nakapagpundar na ng mining firm sa murang edad.......tinalo nya si ka Ernie Maceda, so young and so corrupt...

wala syang delikadeza....

she explained herself why she voted in favor of abs.. if your basis of delicadeza was her son working to the said network, it doesn't affect her work being a 6th lone-district representative, so therefor theres no violation to the law your citing a conflict of interest, her son's job was an entertainer personnel.. the clear violation of conflict of interest was an example of doh sec. duque, he was a high rank government official while his buildings were mere for lease that the govt. pays..

i do not think they can actually do this, franchise lang ang nawala, hindi yung facilities at iba pang properties ng mga Lopez....

they can not take them away just like that...

May mga DDS (in denial syempre) akong kilala na galit sa ABS-CBN nung kalagitnaan ng hearings. Nung mawala TV Plus nila, mali daw na tinanggalan ng prangkisa ABS-CBN.

Being perceived oligarchs or not, it had nothing to do with ABS-CBN being shut down. It had nothing to do with violating any law either.

^Di ko maintindihan talaga yang oligarch argument na yan. Unang-una wala naman batas na nilabag at kung meron man bakit di kasuhan eh gayung kontrolado naman nya ang Judiciary. Pangalawa, kung galit sa oligarchs, bakit ang dami naman ibang oligarchs na nakapalibot sa kanya? Kapag mga Lopez na oligarch masama, kapag sina Villar, Razon, et al, wala kayo masabi.

prior to martial law, the Lopezes really had the power sectors in their pockets,
they owned television channels 2 and 4, so that all these were confiscated by marcos when martial law was imposed, only channel 9 was allowed to operate then....
same goes with the newspapers and radio stations, only those allied with government were allowed to air....

remember NPC?, sila ang power generators at transmitters of electricity, under martial law these were run by government....so then Meralco was just a mere collection agent.....

after 1986, only meralco and channel 2 was returned to the Lopezes, in terms of power generation and distribution, things were never the same as before....

but meralco today in no longer owned by the Lopez group...
