Fallout Season 2 Confirmed, Filming Location Revealed in Tax Credit

Ahead of its series debut on April 11, the early Fallout Season 2 renewal for Prime Video’s highly-anticipated TV adaptation of hit video game series has officially been confirmed by the California Film Commission.

Per Variety, the production of Fallout Season 2 expected to take place in California after Amazon MGM Studios received $25 million in tax credits. The first installment of the sci-fi drama was originally filmed in New York and Utah.

‘Fallout’ Series Gets New Release Date on Prime Video

“Fallout” is stepping out of the vault earlier than originally planned.

Prime Video has announced that “Fallout,” adapted from the retro-futuristic video game franchise of the same name, will premiere all eight episodes on April 10 at 6 p.m. PT.

Seems they're making TV shows for the games I'm familiar with. The Witcher 3, I spend a lot of time playing it. Borderlands I played most of the games except for the latest one. The Fallout games, I played most of it except New Vegas; Fallout 4 is still installed in my PC and I have yet to finish it. Spent a huge amount of time building extravagant settlements and armoring/giving strong weapons to my settlers. Got burned out a bit so I stopped, but will finish the game at some point. Maybe next they'll do Cyberpunk 2077. 😄

Wow, seems my guess is spot on. Didn't know something was planned for Cyberpunk 2077, which I just finished recently. Well, I'm playing Horizon Forbidden West (PC) right now so I wouldn't be surprised if at some point someone gets the idea to make a Horizon show.
