There are hardly any tv's these days with speakers that would satisfy pinoydvd regulars, to be honest.   ;D

I saw this on sale recently online for under 24k (with free shipping too), not bad for a 55" 4k TV with Dolby Vision and HDR10+.

after 3days of reviews here's some of my inputs

pros:
* design 10/10 bezel less, almost entire panel is your viewing screen
* picture quality after some tweaks, this is far more better than known TVs with same price range
* supports DOLBY VISION (game changer for me)
* very nice responsive remote and interface
* smart features are awesome, it has also built in TV microphone (no need for remote to do voice command)
* supports Youtube 4k direct playing
* full android system, easy to install apps via playstore

cons:
* built in speakers was bad, luckily i have a separate speakers
* connection ports at the back are too compact. hard to reach.. (nasa gitna ng TV ang mga ports)

so are you looking for a cheap but quality TV? for a price of only 24,990 you will get a 55" variant of this..

durability and after sales are still in question, bago palang kasi TV ko.. sana ilang taon pa bago ako umabot jan.

Does the Mi TV have a 1-year warranty like Samsung or does it have a 2-year warranty like everyone else?

Been using this as our main TV since Oct 2021 (pre-order price was 23k for the 55" and came with free Mi soundbar worth at least 4k).

No complaints so far. Apps work well, using it with Ultratek IPTV via OTT and performance is consistent.

Viu is not supported AFAIK.

Warranty is only 1 year and you need to bring it to their service centers for repair (no home service).

Good news, indeed.  I'm surmising that only the officially Xiaomi distributor will be able to offer that 2-year warranty, as there are quite a few shady resellers online that will probably not be able to implement a warranty.

An unbiased reviewer rated this Xiaomi P1 TV as best runner up to equivalent "entry level" 4K models of name brands like (in ranked order): HiSense U6g, LG UP7750, Sony X80J and Samsung AU9000 and then this TV tied with TCL C275. Given its price, he said it's the best value TV.

Initial lang yan, give the speakers time to "break in." I too was disappointed with the sound initially. But after a few days, I was pleasantly surprised how powerful they were and how the TV could seem to decode Dolby and DTS sound, especially from Netflix (Dolby Vision and Sound)  and HD channels like HBO and Cinemax: the sound was strong and appeared to come from the right direction of the particular scene. The Youtube review also mentioned it had the best sound among the entry level 4k UHD TVs he reviewed. Plus the colors and definition were amazing good.
