They also added Harry Giles today, who played well for SAC when Bagley and Holmes were out. Agree - this is an improved and formidable line-up.

Don't think the Lakers can afford the likes of Whiteside and Dedmon to shore up their frontcourt some more, which is now isn't as athletic and as physical as last season. Baka realistically it could be DMC. But next move should be re-signing Markieff Morris.

He'll bounce back this season. He's probably the no. 1 guy now with the Hornets. In Boston he averaged almost 18ppg....being the #4 option. I'm guessing his scoring will be in the 20s now.

Gasol is cheaper signing for probably the veterans Minimum. Baynes probably is worth the MLE.

Baynes probably would be more athletic than Gasol at this stage of Gasol's career but what he lacks in athleticism he makes it up in defensive positioning, elite passing ability and his accuracy in outside shooting (39% from 3 pt).

Dating all star na minimum vet na lang. Si Shaq mas natatandaan ko sa Orlando at Lakers pero ang dami pala nyang pinag laruang teams. Naging vet minimum din ba sya bago nag retire?

Yes sir 17.5ppg as the 4th option in probably only 10-12 attempts a game. For other teams 18ppg is already the 2nd option.

Yes Jokic is in the same mold. In hindsight, Gasol's athleticism isn't really his strongest asset even when he was younger. It was his basketball IQ, passing and post game. Now he added the three ball to his game which effectively lengthened his career in the NBA

He just need to lose weight (again) to make him quicker. He was in slow motion when The Celtics played the Raptors last playoffs.

Yup. Yung nauna sa kanila sa draft na si Lonzo Ball and Markelle Fulz (2 and 1 respectively ) eh in limbo. Goes to show that draft pick seeding is really a hit or miss thing.

He will sign. no doubt about it. He just wanted to see how the Lakers will replace those who left (Bradley, Howard, Rondo) in free agency before signing. Word is that he will sign after Thanksgiving. Joining the Lakers is the best thing that happened to his career. 7 years of futility in New Orleans. That's a very long time. First year with Lakers and he wins a ring with the opportunity for more in the coming years.

Kuzma better bring his A game this year. Offensively the Lakers have so many players than can do the job. If Kuzma shows signs of inconsistency he might find himself sitting on the bench and out of the rotation.

I'm excited to see THT being given the playing time that he deserves. In a podcast interview with Dudley he said that during the bubble, THT was destroying everybody in the Lakers in scrimmages and practice sessions. He just wasn't given the time to showcase his skills because they were stacked in the guard position (Caruso, Rondo, JR, Waiters, Pope). Now that the line up has been sorted out its a sure bet that Vogel will give him the exposure he needs.
