2021-22 is a player option for LBJ. Pwede naman mag stay si Giannis sa Bucks. He will probably command and have the highest salary in the NBA. Yun lang he might be the next Charles Barkley after all is said and done. Tawanan lang sya ni Kostas years from now. Seems like the Bucks aren't that committed in building a championship team anyways. The biggest question mark is the coaching staff. Two years in a row they weren't able to adjust how Giannis was being defended in the playoffs.

Thanks for the links. Upon clicking, I see Luol Deng's salary is still on the books at almost $5M. I believe this was part of the stretch provision to waive him. To my understanding this can't be written off the team's cap. So if LeBron and AD take $35M a piece plus Deng's cap hold at $5M, you have a total of$75M. Thus the Lakers can only offer $34M. Even lower than what LeBron & AD get. And a good $11M lower than what the Bucks can pay Giannis. Might be too much of a gap.

May nabasa ako na article about 2016 contracts. Ang lalaki ng nakuha kontrata ng mga players na di man lang naging all-star at di ko na yata nadidinig ngayon kahit nuon. Ano kaya naisip ng mga boss nila bakit sila binigyan ng ganun kalaking kontrata? The likes of Mozgov, Parsons, Deng, Batum etc

Batum? They are in dire need of a point guard. Batum is a shell of his former self since signing that max contract. Injuries took its toll on the former defensive specialist. He was waived by his former team and his salary was put on stretch provision. Yes ganung kalala ang laro nya...he is being paid not to play.

Pat Bev and Lou Williams both on the trade block for the past 2 weeks. Still no takers. Clock is running for the Clips as both PG and Kawhi can opt out at the end of the season leaving them empty handed after giving up 6 players for PG13.

Batum can definitely still play spot minutes - sadya lang matagal na siyang wala sa rotation ni Borrego (disipulo ito ni Popovich), also dahil sa youth movement ng HORNETS e.g. Graham, Bridges, Washington, etc.

Getting him for the vet-minimum, he'll be a very low risk, medium-reward type-player for the CLIPPERS.

Clippers fired doc Rivers after being eliminated(again) in the bubble playoffs and is replaced by former Cavs coach Tyronn Lue. Rivers though didn't stay jobless for long as he was hired to coach the Sixers.

I was just wondering how come LAC has enjoyed one of the strongest line up in many years yet have not really been successful. Kung iba ang coach nuon pa baka iba ang istorya?

Actually, winner last year nang NBA Executive of the Year award si Lawrence Frank from the CLIPPERS ........... despite the flame-out, Frank assembled a great team last season.

Minsan wala sa kamay nang executives kung papayag ang isang player sa offer nila. Jerami Grant left the NUGGETS and chose the same value contract with the PISTONS instead.

There are reports that the CLIPPERS had little intertest in re-signing Harrell, since he played poorly last playoffs - ginawa siyang bata ni Jokic last playoff series nila.

Madami factors within the CLIPPERS ........... pero credit should be given to the NUGGETS, they wanted it more this recent season.

Joker was a huge mismatch for them. Zubac is too raw/foul prone and Harrel is too small. It was a huge ask for Harrel to guard him effectively since Jokic is 7'0" at 284 lbs and Harrel is listed at 6'6" 240 lbs. They tried double teaming the Point Center but due to his height and Larry Bird like passing ability, he can always see the open man and made the right play. Pinaglalaruan na nga lang sila ni Jokic nung game 7 by attempting a no look behind the head pass.

We will see if Ibaka is the answer to that match up but in hindsight Jamal Murray is as big of a headache to the Clips as Joker. 40 points in Game 7 with Pat Bev, Jackson, PG13 and Kawhi taking turns in guarding him. Jamal is just 23 years old and he will just get better and better.

I'm excited to see the progress of MPJ this year now that he will be asked to contribute more to fill the void left by the departure of Jerami Grant.

Great article. Kawhi himself is reportedly demanding for the Clips management to get a new PG. Something they have not done yet.

Yes, CLIPPERS need a facilitator PG ........... Reggie Jackson is a scoring PG, while Beverley is a specialist.

Sayang at naunahan sila kay DJ Augustin .......... or they can try convincing Collison to come out of retirement.

Great question. The best PG that they could have got in free agency was Rajon Rondo. Eh ayaw daw ni Rondo sa mga kakampi na paminsan minsan eh day off.
