Feeling a bit mixed on this. I like the more villainy Boba Fett than the anti-hero he is in Mandalorian.

Feeling a bit mixed on this. I like the more villainy Boba Fett than the anti-hero he is in Mandalorian.

I feel the same way; I'm thinking ditto for many of the older fans as well.

The reason for Boba Fett's mystique in the past was largely due to the mystery (and shadiness) surrounding bounty hunters.  After the prequel and sequel trilogies and then The Mandalorian series, there could well be some weariness from viewers and fans on the subject.

how in the world is Ming-Na Wen already 58 years old?? She looks so young, she also kicks ass in her films. Literally.

Two episodes in and seems this is not as compelling as The Mandalorian. The flashback story with the Tusken Raiders is also quite derivative. It's not bad though and I'll still be watching. Hopefully things will turn out much better for the next five episodes.

3 episode and yet I see it lacking in action. Also I find Boba Fett's fighting skills very ordinary.

Not used to this "new" Boba Fett. I used to read a lot of the expanded universe when I was in college and Boba Fett was a mysterious, lone wolf, bounty hunter who never took his mask off. Didn't speak much too. This new direction for the character is off-putting to me.

One episode for me so far. Not quite engaging as the Mandalorian.  Saka ko na lang tatapusin siguro when all episodes are out and I have nothing else to watch.

Hmmm.....somehow the arguably best episode so far in The Book of Boba Fett does not even include Boba Fett.... :-\

Exactly! For some reason all they have been doing is to try to make Boba sympathetic. I miss the scum that he was.  ;D

This version of Boba Fett talks too much and takes his mask off a lot.

Mando is the prototypical lone gunslinger in a spaghetti western plotline, with his mask replacing Clint Eastwood's stoicism (to be fair, Clint Eastwood really doesn't have that many facial expressions).

Meanwhile, Daimyo Fett seems to be Charles Bronson with a heart of gold, except he isn't the underdog in this one as he has a posse.  Not very compelling, to be honest.  I hope the last half of the series is much better.
