Hi PDVD peeps.

My wife has given me her approval to buy the ultimate speaker upgrade this 2021. I’ve read several reviews online comparing these three monitors with conflicting results. I would like to know your thoughts on which is better, all-around monitor among the three. They are similarly priced. I listen to different genre of music from pop, jazz, rock, etc. Unfortunately, I have no space for a floorstander hence my selection are limited to bookshelf monitors.

Unfortunately sir, there is no physical store here in Manila for Harbeth, Graham will be available within the month, while DB1 currently not available sa Audioworld ;(

Both are very good speakers
What amp and source are you gonna pair it with.
Better audition it with your gears to be sure..

Falcon ls3/5a and my vitus amp parang pang karaniwang speakers,
Pero nung ginamitan ko ng dynaco st70 naging parang ibang speakers
Sya. Mas sweeter ang mids, and mas lumaki tunog nya.

Try mo el34 tubes. Meron ang cayin, line magnetic, primaluna etc.
Pag pumunta ka sa forum ng ls3/5a marami ka makikitang recommendation

Falcon (not the gold badge), harbeth p3esr (not xd) , spendor and proac tab 10 sig
falcon stand ang ginamit sa falcon, atacama sa proac,

depth of music . falcon (malayo ang proac tab 10 )
in highs mas refine ang falcon (falcon, harbeth, spendor )
in mids mas okay harbeth (harbeth, falcon, spendor)
in lows falcon ang lupit ng falcon

sa price lang panalo proac almost below 100,000 (bnew)
opinion (judgement ko) lang eto , base on listen session.

malaki ang improvement ng music sa graham ls3/5a compare sa proac tab 10 using moon 240i (sa room ko)

sana magkaroon ulit hi fi show sa bacolod para ma compare un 3

Nung magdemo ako sa audioworld, i listened to both tablette and LS3/5a, malayo ang tunog ng graham sa proac. Mas fuller yung sound compared sa proac. They used moon 240i plus power amp pa ata. Both were placed in the graham stand. Pati si misis graham ang pinili instead of proac, kahit mas mahal si graham hehehe. Straight out of the box yung graham pa noon hindi pa broken in.

Talagang torn lang ako ngayon kung aling integrated ang upgrade ko. Choices Rega Aethos, Sugden ANV50, NAiM SN3, or the Mcintosh MA252 sa marketplace... will be selling my rotel separates soon
