The Pistons officially make OSU's Cade Cunningham the first pick in the 2021 NBA Draft.

All eyes next on where Jalen Green lands.
We deserve better.

Warriors may chance pa to go after Suggs. I'd say trade Wiseman and their pick now.

Jonathan Kuminga to the Warriors at 7th is a solid pick. He will definitely help their frontcourt.

I think the Lakers made a mistake with Westbrook. Not really a fit moreso a need for another ball dominant player.

Lakers will let him walk. No need to offer a contract.

Unrestricted FA.  He turned down Pelinka's offer of about $20 per year.

Westbrook is going to be a puzzle piece that the Lakers will try to fit in their system.  Not a seamless fit but if it works it gives them that 3rd All Star with a triple double average for the past few years. Skill set wise I just don't see how he complements AD and LBJ in a half court system though he is a one man wrecking crew in a fast break.  Lets see how the three players mesh in a few months.

Not a go for broke move since if it doesn't work he can walk (opting out) or be traded as early as the end of this season because he has an expiring 47M contract (assuming he opts in to his massive 47M final year)

Finally they moved on from the Kuzma and Harrel experiment. Just didn't work out. One is too inconsistent and the other one is just too small as a center.

Reserving judgment on the Westbrook trade. Need to see the complete picture this offseason. This is evidently a trade intended to make the most out of LBJ's remaining playing years. WB should help with the playmaking and shot creation, but yes - chemistry needs work.

On the other hand, the Wizards got good pieces to complement Bradley Beal, together with Rui Hachimura, Thomas Bryant. Backcourt still needs help.
We deserve better.

Meanwhile...there is talk that DeRozan can still land in LA via a sign and trade for Dennis Schroder + Caruso.

Spurs are going to go young and would like to have players that are in the same timeline.  Lakers look like they are stockpiling All Stars.  Perhaps headed for war with the Brooklyn Nets.

I don't understand where this is going.  DeRozan is another non 3 point threat. First we got Westbrook who is historically horrible from three and Pelinka is dealing for DeRozan?

This is going to be a long year for the fanbase.

Schroeder who refuses to sign for 20M?  I don't think Pop would go for a 25M point guard who shoots first than pass.  Better to invest in Dejounte Murray.

I think they want to ease the load off Lebron who is not getting any younger.  With a healthy LBJ and AD, this is a formidable trio - at least a match for the Nets trio.
