The USA used to lead the way in medtech and pharmacy research but decades of decline in public education got them here.

i think, tbh, it doesn't have anything to do with education but more on social media.  the anti-vaxxers, if I had to guess, are an educated lot.  the problem is, which is a recurring theme for them is they claim to "do their research".  unfortunately, instead of getting the information from the doctors and the experts, they go down a rabbit hole of conspiracy theorists and propagandists on social media.  just listen to what Wiggins and Isaac are spouting...

to me, the NBA should crack down. ban the unvaccinated players. requiring vaccination was a non-starter before with the players, but with 90% of the players already getting the shot, then maybe the sentiments have as well

and here we go....Pre season.  Couple of weeks before the regular season opens.  Nets vs Lakers this morning.  THT had an abysmal game. AD, Dwight, DJ, Bazemore, Nunn, Rondo and Monk all played.  Looks like Monk is the real deal and will have an impact in helping the Lake Show.  We will see how his game progresses 

Meanwhile...Simmons is still a Sixer and as expected, still a no show.  The Sixers already put a hold on $8M of his salary and he is being fined $220,000 per game missed in the pre season.  That will escalate to $280,000/game sometime in the regular season.

Also, Wiggins already got the vaccine.  Binatukan siguro ni Draymond.

I was an NBA fanatic starting from the 70's era but lost the interest after the 2010 season. Players have become more of a diva-like attitude nowadays, trumping their team goals while getting huge salaries. No offense to your idols guys but wish all the players were more cooperative with their respective teams. One good example was Tim Duncan, he just played & thats it, no on-court / off-court antics.

Bulls looks like an exciting team to watch this season. With the addition of Lonzo, DeMar, Carushow they have a run and gun team built around Lavine.

They spent a lot of money re-tooling their roster to reach the playoffs.  Many insiders though believe that what they have is enough for them to reach and unfortunately peak in that dreaded playoff purgatory (first to second round elimination).  Defense is the big question. Offense they do have it in spades.

The Nets organization, through GM Sean Marks, has just announced that Kyrie Irving cannot play or practice with the team until he is eligible to be a full participant.



The Nets had to make this stand. Having Kyrie as a part-time player was unfair to the team and to the fans.
