The Bulls can't catch a break. Two more players - including All-Star Zach LaVine - have been placed in health and safety protocols. The Bulls currently have a total of nine players out due to COVID protocols: LaVine, DeRozan, Coby White, Javonte Green, DJJ, Ayo Dosunmu, Troy Brown, Matt Thomas and Stanley Johnson, who was ironically added to the roster recently to be a replacement player. The Bulls barely have the number of active players needed to avoid postponements of their games.

Now it’s the Nets which have been hit by COVID, with seven players out for health and safety protocols: James Harden, Bruce Brown, Paul Millsap, LaMarcus Aldridge, James Johnson, DeAndre' Bembry and Jevon Carter. Won’t be long before their next few games are also postponed.

History in the making today at MSG with Steph Curry needing just two more three-pointers to beat Ray Allen’s record for most three-pointers made all-time (2,973). Allen is in MSG to witness it, with Reggie Miller (third in the all-time list) calling the game for TNT.

EDIT: Barely five minutes into the game, he breaks the record.

He was often injured pa during his first three years.

Also, Ray Allen retired at 41. Curry is 33 right now. if Curry retires at the same age (+8 years), that would be at least 1.6K more or less if 200 3PM/year.

Vince Carter retired at 43 which is the oldest in NBA history. seems like Steph can go and stay longer than that.

Malabo na ngang ma-break ang record ni Curry. Much like the records held by legends like Kareem (points), Stockton (assists), Hakeem (blocks) and Karl Malone (FTs). Curry signed a four-year extension earlier this year, so he's set to play until he's 37 (at least). Assuming he stays healthy, malamang aabot nga ng 4K three-pointers made ang all-time record niya.

with the changes on how NBA is played now, I think it will be broken by one of the new players ... at the start of Steph's career, bukod sa injuries di pa masyadong prevalent ang 3-point shooting ... ngayon kahit big man required na tumira ng 3's ... sa dami ng volume ng 3's from start of their careers, likely aabutan yan, unless mabago na naman in the future at bumalik yung big man game

I think matatagalan bago ma break yung record. Even though almost everybody in the league shoots 3s, most 3pt specialist are still role players in their respective teams. Only a few like Dame and maybe Trae are the first option sa offense ng team and has 3pt shooting as one of their main weapons.

Ang cool siguro if Klay passes Rey Allen sa all time din…so 1 and 2 sila.

IMHO, I don't think Curry's record would be broken. Curry is the only the player who shoots a lot of 3's day in day out in every game. Yung iba kse hindi every game and tira ng 3's. Si Curry all his career volume 3 shooter sya more than 2's. Credit also to his coach Kerr who game him (and Klay) the go signal to shoot as many 3's as they want to in each game. As I mentioned he is not done yet. Meron pa syang good 10 years to pile up more 3's making the his record unreachable already.

i think malabo na ma-break pa yang record sa 3PM. iba yung accuracy na meron si Steph compared sa ibang three point shooters/players ngayon.

He'll continue to shoot and make 3's until his last playing day and that will set the bar so high na walang ibang makaka dikit man lang. at the most mga Reggie Miller level na lang siguro maabot nung iba.

None of the current players have the gift that Curry has IMO.

The Lakers were without Howard, THT and Monk due to covid protocols. While not as impactful as Luca to the Mavericks they are still valuable players in their rotation.
