Kung straight Harden for Simmons lang, panalo Sixers.  But may plus Seth Curry, Drummond and 2 1st round picks pa.  I think lamang ng konti ang Nets sa trade na to.

Bro you are correct. For me hindi lang konti. The Nets got away with a lot more than they could have hoped for in exchange for Harden.  After they traded away Jarett Allen and Caris LeVert + 2 first round picks (for the bearded one), they suddenly have a need for a true center.  They tried to plug in that role with an ageing DeAndre Jordan last season but his skills have declined considerably.   Drummond will immediately slide in to that role at the center position.  You also have Seth Curry who can start or come off the bench for Patty Mills so that there is always a 3 point threat lurking in the perimeter. Joe Harris may be lost for the season so the presence of Seth will be huge.  Most importantly the Nets got 2 first round picks which is exactly what they gave away when they traded for Harden.

For the 76'ers I think they panicked at the last minute to get rid of Simmons  hence they tacked on picks and players just to trade him to another team.  Sureball ako that Harden is an offensive upgrade over Simmons but here is the caveat:  32 years old na sya and showing signs of decline....and he is eligible for a max contract worth 220M/4 years (till age 36!!) . He doesn't take care of his body and  I'm sure as hell that as he ages he wont even lift a finger to play defense.

On the other hand kung ma motivate si Ben to play well again ang bigat na ata ng Nets kahit walang Kyrie.  A tall defense oriented PG, a very actively rebounding center and rim protector, plus Aldridge still able to play well at 4(tama ba?) and KD.

That would be a hot ticket for basketball fans. Nets vs. 76'ers.

Imagine his teammates eh part time players.

If they lack players due to Covid then they should source from the D-League for 10 day contract players.

They could sign IT. Hindi naman siya gaanong pinapasok sa mga 10 day contracts niya sa lakers and mavs

Results of this morning's All-Star Draft (in the order of selection):

KD had the chance to select now-former teammate James Harden with the last pick, but opted for Rudy Gobert.  :)
This was hilarious! Grabe mang sulsol si Ernie and Kenny. Need daw ni KD nang size! Then LBJ asks about Harden if healthy, and Chuck quickly says Harden's now all healed and will play immediately.

I'd sit out the ASG, if I were Harden. Too much negative press.

This is how a drama becomes a comedy.

IMO on the BKN-PHI trade, there’s no player more motivated and determined to prove critics wrong than Ben Simmons. As soon as he’s ready to play (conditioning, mental health issues), he’ll be a huge boost to the Nets’ campaign especially on the defensive end and for playmaking on days when KD and/or Kyrie are out. Doesn’t have to score much, as the Nets have many scorers. Playing also with fellow Aussie and veteran Patty Mills should help Simmons adjust quicky. Mills has already assured “(he’s) got his back”.

Meanwhile, Philadelphia is also excited to have James Harden. :)  BKN will visit PHI on March 10.

We deserve better.

In hindsight, 76ers could have just traded Ben Simmons to the Sacramento Kings for Buddy Hield & Tyrese Haliburton plus others or trade with the Portland Trailblazers. Tuwang tuwa siguro si Ben Simmons at napunta sya sa Brooklyn to play with Durant. He is now in a better place and not in a gutter bound teams.

Clippers get their revenge against Dallas.  Sayang 45 points ni Luka (after shooting 51 the previous game).

Harden-simmons trade was the big one this season, but the big surprise for me was Dallas trading away Prozingris - either he really has a bad attitude or Luka doesn't like him, or both

Injury prone. The last 4 years he hasnt completed a season. he cant be relied upon to be the ultimate sidekick to Luka. That plus his salary which they can get 2 to 3 quality and reliable role players.

Lets keep in mind that Harden only has this year under contract. Next year is a player option. He can theoretically opt out and be a free agent at the end of this season to sign with another team.  That would be the doomsday scenario for the 76'ers if ever that would happen.

Harden will "opt in" for next year.

Part of the deal pala yung opt in for next season.  Good then for the 76'ers. It wont be a half year rental for them if that's the case.  The conundrum then would be if they will offer the max extension of 220M for 4 years.  That albatross contract would end with Harden being 38 years old.  He is only 32 going 33 now and showing considerable signs of decline already.

AD, generational talent at his prime.  so i would keep him. Lebron naman, as much as I hate him, at this stage if his career, his value is more off the court for Lakers.  I think ang issues ng Lakers now is due to the fact na pinabayaan nila si Lebron to dictate/influence player signings and movement.

Boston Celtics is playing very well and on a winning roll with 8 wins straight. Now sits on the 6th spot overtaking The Raptors. They really picked up their slump since Smart came back and turned on their switch. White is also a great addition. Sila ata #1 defensive rating team.

AD, generational talent at his prime.

Bro he can be at times but for last year and this year's season, his performance and desire noticeably dipped.  He doesn't even demand the ball even if a 6'3 player guards him in the paint.  He can dominate anybody in the NBA not named Giannis but oftentimes he just decides to play passively.

3 years ago when he was traded to LA by the Pelicans, he scored 50 when he finally faced his former team that season.  The offensive and defensive arsenal  was in full display. Lobs, 3 point shots, midrange shots, low post moves, crossover and blow by layups, demoralizing blocks, rebounding.... you name it.  That AD is long gone by now.

LBJ has passed Kareem na pala as the all time leading scorer (reg season + playoff). And mukhang he can still score 1000++ more the way he is playing.

there's something wrong with him physically. he's either not 100% healthy or isn't in peak condition.  a lot of analysts have also said that he might be packing on too much weight.

Is he worth investing into with that amount of money?

By the way mas may edad ba sya kay KD? I doubt if Harden and KD can still be that good pag dating ng 36 or kahit si Giannis?
