I really think James should go with him 

I also think its unfair.  Management surrounded him with stubborn veterans na mahahaba na sungay and they dont listen nor execute the plays that the coaching staff wants.

I'm a die hard Laker fan through thick and thin and I also want to see LBJ traded while he still has value. Imagine the assets the team can get.

JBuss should trade him while he still has value just like Shaq before.  One way or another, the assets that they got from the Shaq deal paved the way for the Kobe-Gasol-Bynum-Odom championship era

There you go...This was probably the first and worst superstar studded team in the NBA that totally missed the playoffs.  As a fan of the team since the 80's...im kinda glad that this season is over and we can look forward to the next.

My take on the off season changes would be:

1. New Coach. Possibly new GM. 
2. AD, LBJ and Westbrook will be back. 
3. The rest will be replaced. Youth, shooting and defense will be the prime needs

It will be far easier for Vogel to land a head coaching job with another team that's for sure.  Iba dynamics kasi sa Lakers eh.  Parang mas favorable sa kanila na masunod ang wishes ng star players nila than the coaching staff sa pag acquire ng players sa off season. Dun pa lang headache na eh.  Ideally, its the coaching staff that relays their needs to the GM. Trabaho ng GM to broker a deal in order to get the pieces that the team needs.  Feeling ko na bypass si Vogel nila LBJ. Star player to GM ang naging heirarchy.

Yes. The dinners and meetings with Westbrook, LBJ and AD happened long before the trade was even announced.  Si Pelinka? Hawak ni LBJ yun by the balls.  Kay Godfather Riley lang naman sya di umubra eh that's why he left MIA.

Mas disappointing ang season ng Lakers since di sila nakapasok kahit sa play in. Whilst the Nets even reached the 7th seed (will play for 7th spot or 8th seed sa play in). Since nasa playin sila and likely to enter the playoffs, meron pa din silang chance to reach the East finals and even the NBA finals. Who knows maybe perhaps they could be hoisting the 2022 NBA Championship trophy come July!

In street clothes hahahaha.  Statistically, AD did a lot better this season than last season (post championship) but shooting percentages are down. The real bummer is that he missed a ton of games. In two seasons he played only the equivalent of one.  The most reliable player this year?  Russel Westbrook.

This is the bad part if the player is more powerful that the head coach. As a showtime 80's die hard fan this also happen with Magic & Paul Westhead in '81 & that's when Pat Riley step in, but after that all was smooth sailing, there were not a lot of changes in their roster, they just kept appearing in the Finals, win or lose they were there. The thing with James he wanted all the star studded players to be around him & towing his carriage while he pulls the strings whenever he wanted. Not the like Earvin on whoever was there he made them better like Worthy, Green, Cooper, Scot & a lot more. Iirc during the '89 all star game there were 3 Laker starters for the west (I think the feat never happen again this time around)

for me Pat, Phil & Gregg are great examples of untouchable coaches from a team prize possession player.
