They couldn't deal with Desmond Bane. This dude is gonna get paid real soon and with serious money. He is eligible to sign the extension as soon as next season ends and Steven Adams is off the books after this season....his 18M salary will be allocated for sure to extend the contract of Desmond Bane. They can re-sign Adams at a much lower salary point.

They might not be able to bounce back. It's the same game plan being employed by the Mavs. The Clippers won 4 games in a row against them in last year's playoffs by exposing Utah's personnel weakness. Field a mobile and athletic team that can shoot lights out from distance and you render lumbering Rudy Gobert to a liability because he is forced out of the paint to run around the perimeter because his man is out there. Its now 5 on 4 at that point every game possession. Perimeter defense of Utah is very poor. Clarkson never plays defense and so is old man Conley. Mitchell is an average defender and so is O'Neale.

Luka will have a field day picking them apart if he manages to play in this series but by the looks of it he might not even need to

Rudy Gobert makes up for their lack of perimeter defense during the regular season. That wont work in the playoffs because every weakness will be exposed and exploited until you come up with a counter.

Tao nya si Kleber kanina......4/5 sa 3 point shots and he scored 17 points. SI Bertans hinahabol nya din sa perimeter kanina. 4/7 sa 3 point shots for 15 points. napaka simple nung action kanina...puro pick and pop targeted against Gobert. Rudy was always playing the roll.....which didnt happen. The pick guy just popped sa three point area and let it fly.

It didnt help as well that O'Neale didnt even attempt to score. He played 32 minutes with zero field goal attempts. That's like saying 4 lang babatayan ng Mavs sa depensa the entire night.

CP3 Enters the game in the 4th quarter with 10 minutes to go with the score at tied at 81 all.
He then scored 13 straight points, 19 points total in Q4, assisted on two baskets for his team mates and grabbed 3 offensive rebounds all in the final 10 minutes of the game.

not bad for being the oldest guy on the court.

CP3's mid range shot with very high efficiency is so very difficult to guard. If you double team him you know he would drop the pass for an easy two.

Yes. His mid range game is so deadly. That and his craftiness with the ball makes him a very difficult cover one on one but more than his offensive skills, the guy can orchestrate with the best. He also brings with him a winning culture that he instills in whatever team he joins. OKC for example. It was supposed to be a rebuilding year for them that year and CP3 willed the team to a playoff run when he was there.

Devin Booker and Ayton couldn't even sniff the playoffs before. They then added CP3 and two years in a row they are favorites to win it all.

CP3 is a perfect example of a player that deserves max money.
