Tyler Herro had been named NBA Sixth Man of the Year in nearly a unanimous vote. Cleveland’s Kevin Love and Phoenix’s Cam Johnson placed second and third, respectively based on the voting.

We watched something special today!!!   Ja Morant just went berserk in the last 6 minutes of the game. 18 points in 6 minutes.  It didn't matter who guarded him.

Somewhere out there the New Orleans Pelicans Fans are wondering what could have been had the Pels drafted this kid instead of that 300 pound dude who was probably watching this game with a bucket of fried chicken on his lap.

big miss for NOLA, but at that time, whoever had the first crack at the no.1 pick would've taken Zion, even if it was Memphis ... there was too much hype for Zion, even people like me who was not following their college basketball and the draft candidates knew that Zion would go as no.1 pick ... Zion was touted as the next Lebron James on the draft, and that nothing can go wrong

I think Zion will get his act together. Yun lang talaga is the injury factor. Will his bone heal properly? That is the big question. He already witnessed how strong pels can be without him. Mas lalo with him. They can be really strong next year, if they keep the trio together, zion, mccollum and ingram

I agree. There really is no exact science in the NBA draft. Some teams draft according to their need (shooting, big man, back court etc) Some naman draft the biggest talent that is available on the board even if they already have a good player in the same position.  Good teams see a long term project (Jokic and Giannis are examples) while some teams need production right away (Pels).  Some just draft players with the mindset of increasing the players value so that they could trade him down the line.

Hindi mo lang talaga maiiwasan as a fan to think that if this or that player went to another team and what could have been the results.  Michael Jordan could have been drafted by Portland but they already had Clyde the Glide (same position) so they passed on MJ.  Kobe was drafted by the Charlotte Hornets....pero nauto sila ni Jerry West.

from lessons learned from the past years, it is always best to draft for the talent, not what position the team needs

Gary Payton II will be out for three to five weeks after the elbow fracture he suffered yesterday as a result of the hard foul by Dillon Brooks. He’ll be sidelined at least until the WCF if GSW advances. Big loss for the Warriors. Brooks will probably be suspended for G3.

The series between Sixers and Heat exposes Harden's capability to carry a team on his back. He is no longer the player people know that shoots a lot and will score 30 to 40 points for his team to win. It seems like his explosiveness going to basket to fish for a foul and step-back three are long gone.

Brunson and Dinwiddie are having a hard time getting past Booker and Bridges. They couldn't beat these defenders off the dribble to penetrate the paint just like in the Utah series.  Luka gets his points because he can bully small defenders due to his size.  Without any help from Brunson and Dinwiddie, this series may not even go back to Phoenix.

Harden is 33 and had the hamstring injury that really slowed him down. Yun sa nets kita mo na. You can really see what defense are throwning at him sa playoffs. Green is 1-10 today, thybulle 20 minutes tapos goose egg, so doesn't help. On the huddle sabi ni spo, " keep having that wall on harden"

I thought Sixers gave too much for harden. Simmons will have back sugery, so we don't know yet who won this trade. A true measure is kung naglaro si embiid.

I think everybody is expecting too much on harden. Harden's mistake is he is desperate for a championship now and throwing teams under the bus. That is bs, i hate him for that. Name me one player that won a championship without at least one all star sidekick. Maisip ko lang si hakeem when he won the 93 to 94 season championship, detroit of 2004, and maybe bill walton's portland team

Did lebron win those championships himself? Durant? Duncan? I mean these players are greater than harden, but just saying. When Bird had that back injury, he can no longer carry the celtics, same with magic after the bulls series. Look at Anthony Davis, puro injury right? He can't even do it too. Lebron average 30 this season, saan na lakers?

If anybody plays basketball, they know impossible ang 1 on 5, esp pag tumanda na and injuries.

on the Simmons-Harden trade, 76ers won ... they could've traded Simmons to Westbrook or any other player who plays, and they still win ... getting rid of player paid 44M this year and increasing amount on the next few years and doesn't want to play and causing commotion to the team is all worth it
