Disney+ has announced that the WandaVision spin-off Agatha: House of Harkness from Marvel Studios will be coming soon to the streamer, with Kathryn Hahn reprising her character from the original series.

The spin-off is described as a dark comedy. Additional plot details are currently being kept under wraps. WandaVision’s Jac Schaeffer returns as head writer and executive producer for Agatha: House of Harkness.

Kathryn Hahn gave a brief update about Marvel Studios’ forthcoming Disney+ series Agatha: Coven of Chaos. While expressing her excitement for the highly-anticipated project, Hahn confirmed that they’re currently planning to start production around late November, 2022.

“Heartstopper” star Joe Locke has been cast in the “WandaVision” spinoff “Agatha: Coven of Chaos” for Disney+, Variety has learned exclusively from sources.

Locke joins Kathryn Hahn in the Marvel Studios series, in which Hahn will reprise the role of Agatha Harkness, whom she played in “WandaVision.” Exact plot details, including the character Locke will play, are being kept under wraps. Emma Caulfield Ford is also set to reprise the role of Dottie from “WandaVision” in the new series.

Agatha: Coven of Chaos Gets New Title & Release Date Window

The upcoming WandaVision spin-off Agatha: Coven of Chaos now has a new title and release date window.

Now called Agatha: Darkhold Diaries, according to THR, it will come out in “early fall 2024.” The show was originally set for a winter 2023 release. It will now appropriately be released around Halloween.

Agatha Gets Final Name Change, Disney+ Release Date Set

The Agatha Disney+ release date has been set for the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe show — along with yet another name change.

Marvel announced today that the Agatha Disney+ release date is September 18 for the first two episodes. The eight-episode series, officially called Agatha All Along, will then air weekly afterward.
