Topic: The Gentlemen (Netflix)

Started bingeing on this new Netflix series by Guy Richie, same guy who made Snatch and Lock Stock & Two Smoking Barrels, 2 of my all-time favorites  (watch those if you want to see Jason Statham before he became an action star).  This one gives the same smart British underworld vibes as those 2 films but from the point of view of aristocrats instead of the street hustlers.

Just finished all 8 episodes.  Satisfying ending.  Highly recommended. 

Guy Richie creations always had memorable villains; this one includes a Filipina supercar dealer named Mercy whose weapon of choice is a jungle bolo.  There's Tommy Dixon, the fish gutter and his lunatic brother, Gospel.  None comes close to the unhinged pig feeding Bricktop from Snatch.

Enjoyed the series after I learned about it here. 

However I seem unable to continue watching the movie version unlike the series where I was hooked from the start.

Umay na ako sa mga "heist" type na mga shows or episodes pero pinapanood ko pa rin ito kasi nakakatawa dialogue, haha.
