Mukhang wala ng support ang Med eh. Yung Wetek na pumalit sa Med ganun din wala ng support kaya nung magka issue yung Wetek ko wala ng solusyon. Talagang gamit ko na lang as player.

I would like to think na the attachment to a certain device yung gusto natin ipreserve sometimes.
Not for everyone, but i personally don't like to buy new things when the advancement is minimal.
If the repair is cheap then definitely go for it though.
I do notice mibox, for example, stuttering when playing movies via usb that is not present with old media players.
Those old things are using dsp chips, heatsinks, have ample output ports, and can passthrough hd audio that I think are worth repairing basta cheap yung repair. 1K is pushing it.

Ok some update. Dinala ko sa EYO shop sa GH. Eric the owner tried to revive it. The hardware are all okay. Ang problem is the Firmware. Unfortunately wala sya nun. Usually daw yung distributor know how to update the firmware. Kaya lang nga dead company na to.

So end of story na ata tong Mede8er MED500x.

^ saw that page na din. The link is not downloadable on my side. Also din problem ko as di ako marunong mag flash update ng firmware. Di ko din alam kung anong last firmware ng unit ko.
