GSW really have a very good front office by taking care immediately and locking in their stars erasing any doubts and anxieties from their players before the start of the season.

Now next issue is Draymond Green's contract renewal. What would GSW offer or not offer?

The future of the Warriors is secure. At some point Steph and Klay will retire. The young ones like Poole, Kuminga, Wiseman, Wiggins etc will be the ones that will carry the torch.

Poole will receive 4M this year while Wiggins will get 37M I think. So basically they will receive almost equal the next 5 years. But yes, Wiggins is the more impactful player now.

yes what's important is both of them have long term security for their families. Wiggins already had a max contract a long time ago in MIN where he was asked to do everything but wilted under the expectations. His extension with the Warriors is lower than his previous contract which is fine since he is a complementary player in their system. What is important is that Wiggins is now winning.

At this point in his hall of fame career, Pop can literally say whatever is on his mind and can get away with it. The team owner, media and the fans can only laugh about it. I like it, it's fun!!!

No he will not be the best rookie that entered the league, That honor belongs to Magic Johnson who secured the Lakers a championship in his rookie season by playing center in the absence of Kareem due to injury. He didn't win ROY (lost to Larry Bird) but he won the Finals MVP in his rookie year which is more elusive. Till now that feat hasn't been replicated.

Wenbenyama should only get better. He is only 18. The skills are already there. Most important is that the kid plays defense. Pang centerpiece talaga ng isang franchise yung bata. You build a team around him. He is like Ralph Sampson but more skilled. Hopefully his knees and ankles are not like that of Sampson's though.

Tough to say that he will exceed the exploits of Giannis or KD. We have to remember that Giannis is in his prime and is poised to contend for more championships in the near term. KD is on his way out na. It's his 15th season. I dont think he will win a ring with Kyrie.

^^^ Natawa ako dito bro hehehe. Met Benjie sometime back. He married a family friend of ours (his current wife). Very nice guy. Yes in terms of PBA his accomplishments still stands.

Sadly Wembanyana will be drafted by a team who has hit rock bottom that's why they ended up with the top pick. Hard to see them contending for a championship in his rookie year..... UNLESS the pick is traded.

#1 pick in 2023 draft for Draymond, Poole + 2 future picks perhaps? hehehe wishful thinking.

not too familiar with what the other tanking teams are doing, but teams like San Antonio and Utah are loaded with first round draft picks that they can use to provide support for Wenbanyama either by getting good draft picks or acquiring other stars ... hence, they will have a good support for him ... I've only been following San Antonio, they already have 3-4 good young players that will be on second and third year this year, meron ng legit na support cast kung sila makakuha, plus several 1st round draft picks and way below the salary cap

Jackpot makaka draft kay Wenbanyama. You get a two way player that can influence the outcome of the game on the offensive AND defensive end plus all of that for a rookie salary for the next 2 years.

How do you block or at least contest a 7'4" shooter from the 3 point line? His shot is pure. Even if he is double teamed, he can still elevate and shoot on top of the double team.

New season means new jerseys as well. The Celtics released what I think are really cool jerseys to honor the great Bill Russell. The new statement jerseys from the Suns, Spurs and Pistons look good as well.

The Rockets will also release Filipino Heritage jerseys on October 24 when Jalen Green and the team host Jordan Clarkson and the Jazz. I think these are for the fans and won’t be worn by the players.
