This might be the best game the Lakers have played in 2 years.

Down 27 at one point...three ball isn't going down all night. No problem.

Defense and a heavy dose of pounding the paint put them in a position to win. The Vanderbilt and AD defense is a monster. Perimeter and Interior.

Huge confidence-boosting win. That kind of mindset during the game - keeping in control despite the deficit/odds - should be their mindset for the rest of the season. Solid si Vanderbilt, really fortunate they got him. But it’s also key that AD established himself as the main option on offense in the second half.
