The Clippers are likely to get the 5th seed. Remaining games should be easy - POR, @PHX (should be locked in as 4th seed by then). LAC-PHX in the first round.

Lakers need a PHX win over DEN tomorrow so that PHX will be assured of the 4th seed and can rest their stars in their next game (B2B) vs LAL.

Despite having a shot at making the play-in tournament and the playoffs, the Mavericks have decided to tank their season by resting Kyrie, Hardaway, Wood and other regulars in their game later vs. the Bulls. Luka will play, but will rest after Q1. Based on reports, DAL is currently tied with CHI for the 10th lottery spot. The Mavs have a top-10 protected pick owed to the Knicks. Keeping this pick has now become the priority for DAL over any postseason run this year.

Go for Wemba na lang Dallas. A letdown of a season.

Kidd, unlike last season, failed to improve this team’s defense. It got worse when they traded away DFS and got Kyrie. Wood is too flimsy - he can be pushed around. Mas ok pa si Javale. And like last season, they rely too much on the 3 - ok lang if they have GSW-level shooters. They don’t.

CHI rested DDR and Lavine as well. DAL now leading CHI by a considerable margin.

Very poor optics shown to the fans by the DAL organization. They had a chance to get to the 10th spot of the play in had they won the final 2 games and OKC loses 1 of their last 2 games.
Instead they chose to be losers.

Ganyan naman si Cuban. Remember the championship team he dismantled soon after they received the trophy? On the premise that their champion team was old and that they need to sign superstar free agents the next season support Nowitzki? That was 12 years ago. Wala naman nangyari. They weren't able to land anybody substantial. Nowitzki retired after enduring several more years of losing.

Swerte sila sa draft (Dirk, Luka, Brunson etc). Sablay sila palagi sa free agency and trades (Porzingis, Irving etc)

The Warriors are on their way to beating the Kings and effectively locking in the 6th seed to face the Kings as well in the first round.

Meanwhile the Lakers aren’t taking advantage of the shorthanded Suns. Terrible defense. A loss here jeopardizes their chances of having homecourt advantage all throughout the WC play-in tournament.

Assuming MIN beats SAS tomorrow and LAL wins again over UTA, the NOP-MIN game on the last day of the regular season will decide who gets the 8th seed and a twice-to-beat advantage in the WC play-in.
