Congrats to the Heat! They’re the ones making history today as only the second 8th seed ever to reach the NBA Finals. No asterisks to this accomplishment.

This is an incredible piece of trivia about the Godfather Pat Riley:

Pat Riley is making his 19th appearance in an NBA Finals as a player, coach or executive. That will mean Riley has either played in, coached in, or been his team's top decision maker in 24.7 percent of ALL THE FINALS in NBA history.

As per the Celtics, it's time to break this team up. Start with the fluke coach Joe M, then Jaylen Brown, Horford, and Smart. Re-build around JT with a capable low post center, real point guard, and real shooters 2 way players ala Cayleb Martin.

Q2 pa lang tapos na yung game. The Celts just didn't have it tonight.

Jason Tatum who is eyeing a 325M contract: 14 points on 5-14 shooting
Jaylen Brown who is eyeing a 285M contract: 19 points w/ 8 TO's.

Pag isipan nilang maigi yan. Jason Tatum looks like he has the habit of wilting under the pressure of big games. Jaylen Brown naman looked lost out there. Doesn't know when to take charge or to defer.

The need to let go one. Ako siguro I will choose to build around Jaylen Brown. They can get a king's ransom for JT in a sign and trade.

Well they wouldn't be in a game 7 if both JT and JB showcased their ALL NBA first and second team powers from Game 1 to 3 where they were badly humiliated on their home floor (G1 and G2).

Yun pala they have a present for their fans for G7....a beatdown once again on their home floor.

Bam Adebayo is no match for the 2 time MVP. He may beat him in some plays through sheer effort but that's about it. The size plus skill of The Joker is unparalleled.

Underestimating Miami has been a risky proposition throughout this post-season. They continue to defy the odds. The way Jimmy Butler wills this team to win is something I haven't seen before. Talent-wise the roster was no match for Milwaukee and Boston yet they prevailed. Before this play-off, few have heard of Max Strus, Gabe Vincent, or Caleb Martin but these guys have delivered in the absence of Herro and Oladipo.

The Heat players and coaching staff are already on a flight to Denver after Game 7 in Boston. Yup, NOT going home to Miami, but going directly to Denver.

I'm thinking they went early probably to acclimatize to the 5,000+ ft of elevation in Denver.
