previos hi-fi show, every room i attend, pumupunta ako sa likod ng mga gears, may booklet ako hawak, nililista ko mga connector, (interconnect, sp cables, power cords) model at tatanungin ko price, bago ako umupo at makinig, ung mga nsa harapan pinagtatawanan ako, dedma lang ako, the room that was very accomodating, kay ferdie ludo, harbeth w/ vac int. tube amp..

If you are really eyeing a Hi Fi product to buy whether its an amp, speaker, source etc...its best not to do the audition during the Hi Fi show. People walk in and out of the room and sometimes andami ninyo nakikinig sa set up. Hard to really relax and listen to the gears. The best pa din yung appointment to audition. Years ago I was in the market for a B&W 805. Went to the Hi Fi Show and lo and behold meron sila na naka set up. Yun lang while I was listening to it yan ang experience ko...may nagbebenta sa likuran, Kamustahan, tanungan ng presyo, tanungan kung ano model yung tumutunog at kung ano ano pa.
I thanked the guys there and said i'll just reset the audition some other time because the conditions are not optimal for me to make an informed decision. I ended up buying it a few weeks after they set up the audition in their own private room and I listened to it for a solid hour without any interruptions. They told me to bring my CD's and that was it.
OK sa Hi-Fi show is you get to see what's the latest in the market today. Part of what you are buying isnt just the gear itself but the buying experience. Don't shortchange yourself in that aspect.
