Question lang po. Lumalabas ba yung surround sounds (5.1) sa inyo with Disney+?

Installed the app sa Samsung Smart TV, working naman except nga hindi 5.1 yung sound.

sa Samsung ayaw lumabas 5.1. pero pag ginamitan ko ng Chromecast with Google TV eh duon meron, pero 5.1 lang walang Atmos. sa Skyworth TV ko, Android 10, meron 4K HDR and Atmos lumalabas.

Yung Disney+ app sa LG C8 may mga shows na ayaw mag play, black screen lang. Pero the same show works sa Android TV box na connected sa C8.

hindi kasi global app yung Disney+, ibang version yung sa atin at iba din yung sa US. madami pa tuloy incompatibilities sa mga devices

Per Disney+ PH support, 5.1 and Atmos audio are not supported in LG and Samsung TVs. Di pa sure kelan mag-update to add those options. For now, stereo lang muna.

I wish they'd put the names of the director and the main cast of a movie dun sa menu screen just like Netflix. I decide din kasi what to watch based on the directors and the actors pag hindi ko alam ung movie na papanoorin ko.

I guess the problem is not Disney+ .. its PLDT. Tried to connect using my phone (Smart sim) as hotspot, no probs..

Just checked. Down din sakin. PLDT user here. I've read the comments sa Disney+ PH FB page pati converge ayaw din. I guess Globe and Smart lang gumagana.

It's working for me, PLDT user too but I already have been using the 1.1.1.1 DNS regularly.

The above could be related, particularly if some of the hops for Disney+ have to go through shared nodes with Hotstar.

I'm on PLDT too but didn't see a connectivity problem this weekend with Disney+.

Disney+ released an advisory to subscribers in the Philippines regarding an increase in the price of its subscription plans.

The subscription fee for the Disney+ Basic Plan (previously the Disney+ Mobile Plan) will increase from ₱159 to ₱249 for monthly subscriptions, and from ₱1,150 to ₱1,990 for annual subscriptions. For the Disney+ Premium Plan, the subscription fee will increase from ₱369 to ₱519 for monthly subscriptions, and from ₱2,950 to ₱4,190 for annual subscriptions.

Disney+ emphasized that the price increases will be effective from each existing subscriber’s next renewal date. Existing subscribers who choose to cancel their subscription prior to the renewal date will continue to have access to Disney+ until the end of the current billing period. After cancellation, users may resubscribe to another Disney+ plan.

This took effect in my account today. Or probably on the LG OS?

This might be the reason for the price increase.

maybe late nag update yung Disney+ app for LG OS. Atmos has been available to most Android/Google TV OS for around a year already.

Same here, tested on different devices too.

There *was* a problem early last year with Atmos on Apple TV devices running Disney+ but this seems to have already been resolved as well.

My subscription to HBO GO is up for renewal next month. Annual subscription is still unchanged at P1,190.
