I would seriously consider getting Max but a definite no for me for HBO Go.

Disney Password-Sharing Crackdown for Disney+, Hulu, ESPN+ Accounts Will Begin in June

Some subscribers to Disney‘s streaming services will start seeing some new messaging up this summer: Pay up for anyone outside your main household who’s illicitly piggybacking on the services — or face potentially getting disconnected.

According to Disney chief Bob Iger, the Mouse House this June will “be launching our first real foray into password sharing” enforcement. Iger, during an interview Thursday on CNBC, said the initial launch will be “just a few countries in a few markets” (he didn’t identify them) then “will grow significantly with a full rollout in September.”

The initial communications to Disney+, Hulu and ESPN+ customers will prompt password-borrowers to start their own subscriptions, the company has said previously. Later in 2024, account holders who want allow access to individuals outside their household will be able to add them for an additional fee.

Pixar’s first ever original series, is available on December 6 on Disney Plus.

At Disney’s D23 conference, Pixar boss Pete Docter also announced that the series, Dream Productions, would hit the Disney+ streaming service in 2025.

The series will follow the “dream factory” inside of Riley’s head. It is set in between the events of Inside Out and Inside Out 2, with Docter describing the series as “an in-betweenquel.”

HELP! I recently changed the battery to the remote of my Amazon Fire Stick and to my surprise, the system reset. I was able to restore my old account but Disney+ is missing. How can I get it back? Thank you.

I figure Disney+ PH is still not available in Firestick?  Download Aptoide TV app and find Disney+ for PH there. HTH

If you were one of the early subscribers to Disney+ locally on Nov 17, 2022 and availed of the annual plan, the price increase is set to take effect in about a month from now or by Nov 17, 2024. Plan to downgrade to a Basic Plan before then, and use the savings to subscribe to HBO Max Asia when it launches on Nov 19. Hope the prices of the Max Asia plans won’t be too expensive.

Saw the new annual pricing on Alipay. Increased by P200. Will continue with annual subscription.


Update: my annual premium sub auto renewed just now. Same price as last year. No increase.
