‘Dune: Prophecy’ Teaser Trailer Released by Max

Max has released a first look at its upcoming Dune TV series.

Dune: Prophecy brings a tale from author Frank Herbert’s sci-fi odyssey to the small screen this fall. The video was first shown during the Warner Bros. Discovery Upfront presentation in New York City on Wednesday.

The official description: “10,000 years before the ascension of Paul Atreides, Dune: Prophecy follows two Harkonnen sisters as they combat forces that threaten the future of humankind, and establish the fabled sect that will become known as the Bene Gesserit.”

Dune: Prophecy is inspired by the novel Sisterhood of Dune, written by Brian Herbert and Kevin J. Anderson, and the first season consists of six episodes. The show was originally titled Dune: The Sisterhood.
