Gandang araw po, im just new here and im planning on getting a b2, gusto ko lang po malaman kung whats a good amp to pair with the b2, so far ive only had my eyes on the rotel ra-01 and the onkyo tx-sr502, hope u can help me, tnx

Excellent choice with the B2. Iba yung clarity. But, why just B2s? Space or budget or both? If you have the space for floorstanding speakers and the budget, go for the B4. For the amp, the Onkyo TX-SR502 has excellent features for it's price. But do check out others too like Denon. As others have posted here, get what sounds good to you.

Monitor Audio is a great speaker brand, parang Polk Audio medyo sonically powerful nga lang ang MA compared sa Polk, pero ang Polk has a more punchier bass...Remember American loudspeakers reputations are on their lows. Ang mga UK or European built since ang inclination nila ay classical music sa highs and mids naman ang well-defined sa kanila. Pero halos pareho lang, depende na lang sa makikinig at sa listening preference ng isang tao.

Monitor Audio Bronze and RS Series are assembled in Malaysia & China, While the Gold and Silver series are originally handcrafted in the UK.

Best budget amp..I mean stereo/2 channel amplifier ay NAD C320BEE or C352CT or you can go also for the Arcam and Marantz KI signature for Monitor Audio speakers.

If you want a stereo/music system, huwag kang bibili ng receiver, settle for an int/2 channel amp kase iba ang tunog ng int. amp sa AV receiver. Pero kung gusto mo ng later upgrades into HT, go for a receiver. Check Marantz Range Series, Sherwood, Pioneer Elite and Harman Kardon. I recommend Marantz kase sa built pa lang panalo ka na, it has a metal/titanium faceplate and a massive transformer. Unlike other brands ie. Yamaha, Pioneer, Onkyo...made of plastic. Another thing, Marantz has an honest power ratings like NAD, Harman, Roksan & Exposure. They have continous/both channels driven @ 8 ohms. Pero kung meticulous ka, go for Roksan & Exposure (originally UK) and Marantz KI (Made in Japan) unlike other brands which are made in China.

But the best thing is to audition your prospects...In the end, it's your ears that will be the final verdict.

Just past by at th adelphi this pm MA B2 now at sgd380 (php12k+) am also
hunting bookshelfs hence my jbl speaker foam edge (ring) gave way and
asked for repair but so expensive. pagawa ko na lang pag-uwi ko dyan.
I'm considering kef q1, ma b2, m short ms902 but upon googling reviews
with regards to this speakers there are some negatives so now baka
yamaha ns333 na lang bilhin ko, piano finish and good reviews too and
also cheaper sgd338 (11k php) lang.

welcome to pinoydvd. i have not heard the yamaha ns333 but i believe the b2 is a good choice. you may also want to consider AE evo 1, Usher sb520 which is also in the same price range. in the end trust your own ears and happy hunting.

Only heard it last Saturday at Sir Narayan's house.. intial impression was good refined, mids are fine and good bass.. but notice wala pa inner detail compare to other speaker na kasama sa session pero sabi sa akin out of the box ito kaya baka break in pa konti.. pero maganda!!
